It sounds like Gingrich got applause (and probably more votes) for being offended on a question about his character. Sure, the question is a bit harsh, and their is probably some bias behind it, but he should respond by answering the question first, and then backing himself up and/or exposing the question as what it is: a good way to gain 'off-the-cuff' voters. His answer is so theatrical, it makes him appear more blind to multiple viewpoints.

I think what truly bothers me about Gingrich is the way he tries to appeal to the feelings of everyone in the audience as vindication for his actions, when it is clear that what he did (abandoning two wives) is something that practically NO ONE can share feelings with. I'm not as much bothered by his personal track record but by how he tries to attack other candidates' character and records but ignore and downplay remarks about his own.

Anyone else notice how CNN totally ignored Ron Paul for a better part of 15 minutes? At one point the debate centered around Romney, Santorum and Gingrich throwing around the political football.

Also anyone else sick of Romney's polished response to questions. It seems Romney never just answers a direct question and always ends with 'I want to beat Obama' while everyone claps no wiser than before the question was asked.
