I think this is easily the best version of the x-men theme on youtube for guitar. Loved it! I'm learning electric guitar now and i would like to learn how to play... is it hard to learn?

It's not terribly hard, but to make it sound good you need some finesse, both in the picking and fingering technique. Especially the recurring melody is a great exercise when played with alternate picking or sweeping alike.

Not necessarily. I alternate pick all the arpeggio's in this video, although not always as cleanly as I might have liked ;)

Sweeping would probably make it sound a bit more precise.

When I recorded this I was going on about 5 years of playing electric. I also reluctantly played classical guitar before that though, for a few years, which really helped develop my ear and left hand technique.
