And seeing that Ace Ventura is also pretty funny in it's dubbed version (I'm from germany, which has also a long tradition of dubbing) the movie can also be enjoyed by the majority of people that do not live in an english-speaking country ;)

@Zeepeli i think reading jokes doesn't taste like hearing them immediately , 'cause jim carrey's humour is based 90% on facial expression. in this case dubbing is the best way to enjoy the film. luckily we also have one of the best movie dubbers who dubs jim carrey, homer simpson and others. you can't enjoy that, 'cause you don't understand but trust me, it's fucking hilarious xD from our point of view the movie isn't ruined at all, it's 100 times funnier than the english one XD

@Zeepeli i think reading jokes doesn't taste like hearing them immediately , 'cause jim carrey's humour is based 90% on facial expression. in this case dubbing is the best way to enjoy the film. luckily we also have one of the best movie dubbers who dubs jim carrey, homer simpson and others. you can't enjoy that, 'cause you don't understand but trust me, it's fucking hilarious xD from our point of view the movie isn't ruined at all, it's 100 times funnier than the english one XD

@SfigerMan English isnt my native language and i know films are dubbed.but why? well dubbing some class-c shitty films is ok but you just cant dubb jim carrey, or jack nicholson or any other well known filmstar. in my country THANK GOD they are not dubbing films because its so fucking stupid, well only childrens shows are dubbed but thats ok...maybe you middle- and southern-europe folks really are just kids cause you need dubbed films.are subtitles so hard to read? dubbing simple ruin movies
