So many fail to realize that God's power is not something comes from the outside to the inside. In fact, it is up to all born again believers to release the power of God from "within" their born again spirit (Romans 8:11).

I would love to be used as a healer and I am asking God for his plan for me in that way. Everytime I hear about someone dying, whether a movie star and especially a child or young person, I wish I could be a part of a healing ministry that did just that- to just jump on a plane and go raise them from the dead, its in my hearts desire. Hopefully I can tap into this gift.

@fififj1234..u answered your own question towards the end :) It's a gift. It's His grace! Just step out believing it. If u've got the gift of the Holy Ghost, then you've got all the gifts! You've got resurrection POWER on the inside of you! You've got LIFE in abundance! Just let the LIFE flow! Don't even make faith the issue... Great faith is believing that God is faithful! :) Be blessed..go heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out devils, cleanse the lepers in Jesus name! :) Mark16:17-18

I believe this also, that people are dead and sick because of the inactivity of ministers. There is so much work to be done in way of signs and miracles to people. People should be raised from the dead, especially those that died before their 70 or so years on the this earth. It is sad because it would have rescued some people from hell to testify that there is a hell and now they are alive and rescued from hell because someone dared to tell their body to rise and live.

@XiaoFury No its not against it...its Biblical. Look at the people in the Bible, you see time and time again might men and women of GOd crying out to God. EVEN JESUS CRIED OUT TO GOD! And if Jesus did, how much more do we?!?!?

I agree that it is not of works. But faith in God's  word (specifically) is required to receive God's healing provision. God uses healing ministries as a sign to unbelievers. The anointing is not a Charismatic movement, but scriptural. It is the anointing that breaks the yoke. Specific ministries have specific anointing.

Hey Joshua. You said that we have to cry out to God. Wouldn't that be a work? If you're instructing folks to cry for the Lord, you're making people work.

Wouldn't that be against what you're teaching?

Also, one thing God has taught to me recently about healing is that the faith the person needs isn't faith to be healed, it is faith that God is good! So if a person is having trouble being healed, they just need to taste the goodness of God by the unmixed, eternal covenant gospel of grace! peace, brother!

Hey Joshua, good word. When Jesus says "they will do greater things because I go to the Father," that phrase 'because I go to the Father' is a reference to Jesus Christ shedding his blood over the ark of the covenant in the heavenly tabernacle, shutting the things of the law from the eyes of God forever, cleansing all things in heaven and on earth. Once he shut up the old covenant, the Holy Spirit could be released to indwell men. The "greater things" is filling people with the Holy Spirit.
