I have an 06' ltz and i wanna do this i race harescrambles with my stock shocks and i get the crap beat out of me.M y friend has gt thunder and he swears it's great so i'm going for it, how long does it take to get back?
The Z400 took on the look of the Ltr450 or at least similar in 2009. Suzuki also added fuel injection that year to the Z400 which gave it a real boost in throttle response as well as better overall power. I owned the 2003 ltz400 and loved it too!
@renster143 GT thunder does the suspension upgrade with your stock shocks depending on the year. This is a 2009 LTZ-400 and the upgrade with rear swinger linkage was only around $800. Its a vast improvement over the stock set up. It lowers the quad and gives the ride a much needed plush feel.
@gaatvr yea mine is a 09 i would of got the ltr but they had a recall so i settled for the z im not to upset about it tho its a great bike really reliable i beat the hell out of it and nothing has yet to break so im happy. but thanks for the info ill be sure to get ahold of these guys
This process makes the suspension work so much better and it is really worth the money.

@johnfarmerlol This is a 2009 LTZ400. They may look similar but its the 400 not the 450.

nice video how much is that upgrade iv been looking for a way to make my 400 wide like the 450s with out spending up to 1200 bucks
