damn good job!!! only thing i'd criticize is your particle effect coming from the back of the ship. the trail. imo it looks like the particles need to die off a bit after a few seconds, it could be the angle but it just looks like they linger on for a long time.... if intended ignore me! but maybe just an idea to make the plasma effect look more realistic.
If it has to be realistic, then there shouldn't be any particle effects at all. This is space we're talking about. Keeping the thrusters on is a waste.
This was real cool, good job mann. Aliens/ET's do have ships like this, there very huge, they can be 21ft, and up to 31,000 miles long. And that's bigger then the earth. Imagine that... " And their millions of years advanced then we are, in technology "
millions of years really doesnt matter. They could be 50 years more advanced and it would be like kicking a baby in the balls. I mean compare tech from 1900 to ww2 tech or ww2 tech to current. Also a 31,000 mile ship is pointless under any conditions in fact the mass would distort the shape as it would have the mass of at least a planetoid making it form a spherical shape. A smaller ship is much more maneuverable and could achieve the same results
Actually in order to have something that is not totally blurred I need to record in hi-resulution and 3000 bps. The recording itself slowdown by 50% alone... I need a new computer or maybe a better video card, I use a GeForce 9600. If you know a way to record without slowing down the computer I'm interested...
@nikkoid , you can force benchmarking... on UDK, least, you can... it takes the real-time out of it, because you need to "rail" a camera, and then sort of render it out, even at 90 fps if it suits your needs. With that you can render cut-scenes way above your computer real-time, like thousands of effects at the same time, and the such... that would usually slow you down. BTW, Love it.
damn dude nice
