Msrucker6, I didn't hear that growing up. My mother used to bawl out "Lawd God ah de one pickney me have and she ah try kill me". Sometimes it was "Don't mek me kill you in yah today pickney or don't mek de police haffi come fe me. It wasn't funny to me then but looking back now I wondered how I survived......lol. Your parents have to be Jamaican in order to fully understand what it was like growing up with them.
