Like where ? If you refer to the bumps, they don't matter, because they're in areas where you need to wait for Guide.

i mean like shooting the scorpions. Tjhey dont take to much health. When you press the pressure swithch the make the sand fill the room you should jump and roll so you are facing the door to the sand thing

But if you let those scorpions be, the guide starts to kill them when you approach that room on the way back there, which means he's stopped and the second thing is doesn't matter because of that scorpion. You may also noticed I waited about 1 second before pulling a chain. The reason for that is because if you're too quick, the guide has tendency to get stuck on his way down, which means he doesn't ignite the pool and you're stuck as well.
