Only one incidence of ash coincided with a cold season. None of the other several other incidences made any change at all.
CO2 Absorbs 3.5% of the light band. That is not enough to fit "your" theory. Besides, the CO2 is cyclic because its seasonal from the warming oceans where there is a 18x greater concentration.

Of course, there are other causes of warming. Changes in the sun's TSI, total solar irradiance; Changes in the earth's orbit and perturbations in the earth's axis. There are also short term causes, like volcano eruptions and El Nino.
NONE of those causes are effecting the earth's climate TODAY.

However, there are no permanent weather stations in the Antarctic, so Hadley ignores this area, where most warming takes place. Also, 90% of the excess heat due to higher greenhouse gas levels has gone into the oceans, and just 3% into warming the atmosphere. The oceans have warmed since 1999, which willmelt the ice caps. First of all he misreads graph data (lies) to try and make his point, secondly he's entirely wrong there are TONS of graphs that show temp vs CO2 (with temp rising as CO2 rises). Furthermore CO2 IS NOT evenly distributed in the atmosphere jet streams cause CO2 to collect in certain areas (such as the poles) and trap heat there as opposed to other areas. The whole water vapor argument is BS debunked years ago dude needs to look up REAL shit not FAKE shit.
That's a misleading argument, during the interglacial cycle. Changes in other factors like the sun causes the earth to come out of the ice age causing more CO2 to be released. But the additional CO2 causes further warming and thus CO2 eventually leads the warming.

This is no different to a canvass of 51,000 ignorant members of the public. The average scientist knows no more about the real issues of global warming than Mr Average. Whilst I am not qualified to know where the Carbon issue will end. You don't have to be Einstein to work out, that, the Earth's resources do not have an unlimited capacity for plunder and wasteful consumption. So, if we don't burn, choke or have to jump off continents, due to heat and water, we can still look forward to starving on mass, in the future. As well as choking on thinning air, due to tree and plant loses and emissions. Machines can eat the earth in a breath, as they do.
No one at all is doubting the damaged caused, But Global warming is more about saying that carbon is the reason, how it effect's the atmosphere... there is a lot of twisted information that should be viewed by a microscope. Why build more a power plant and then tax people, add taxes just like they do to corporations, money grabbing scam.. correct the problem, stop endangering the wildlife and precious resources. I'll take an electric car- unlimited power resource...

I can agree with certain aspects of BOTH sides of the argument, I agree that the Earth's temperature is cyclical and that whats happened before will happen again, but I ALSO believe that Earth is not an infinite resource, it is finite and there's a limit to how much we can pump out of it. To continue to pump out minerals and fossil fuels which took thousands of years of crystallisation and decomposition processes to form CAN'T be a good thing...I mean seriously...anyone else?

Dissolved CO2 makes acid.
By 2100, at current rates of increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide, average ocean pH will drop 0.3 - 0.4 and be @ 7.8 with an increase in acidic H+ ion concentration of 150-200%.
That will cause a 50% DECREASE of ocean carbonate ions (CO3).
Carbonate ions are needed for growth by plankton & corals at the base of the ocean's food chain.

But thanks for proving a point for me, global warming has unexpected effects, one of which we are experiencing now, which is more rain and snow. So yes you are right it does produce more clouds, and most likely more hurricanes because of the warmer atmosphere. That and water vapor is actually more of a warming agent than CO2...

Only one incidence of ash coincided with a cold season. None of the other several other incidences made any change at all.
CO2 Absorbs 3.5% of the light band. That is not enough to fit "your" theory. Besides, the CO2 is cyclic because its seasonal from the warming oceans where there is a 18x greater concentration.
+1C in 100 years proves one thing. This last century was the most stable in the memory of living man.

Of course, there are other causes of warming. Changes in the sun's TSI, total solar irradiance; Changes in the earth's orbit and perturbations in the earth's axis. There are also short term causes, like volcano eruptions and El Nino.

Have you checked if theres area's of increased ice? like much of antartica?
If you look at the data properly, and use the most accurate data we have. You will find we are no where near the hottest the earth has been, Co2 is nowhere near the highest ever. Sea levels aren't increasing, they are stable with minor variation over the past few decades. Co2 trails Temperature increases, not vice versa.

I don't think so, but let's say AGW is totally wrong; 1. Would it hurt to change our transportation Energy to another form? 2. Would it hurt to inhibit or stop the transfer of wealth to the middle east? 3. Would cleaner air be troublesome? 4. Would it hurt to reduce the cost of energy?
So many positives from, regardless of our views here, what we will have to do anyway, as oil is not a renewable resouce. Why would we not want to do this? Failed states, will impact us ALL.

If you think that CO2 plays NO role in climate, and I don't know any scientists that would say that, then you'd be right. Even the skeptical SCIENTISTS don't say that, to my knowledge.
As for the grid, we could sell back to the grid. The technology HAS to be pushed. As a new energy policy comes to fruition, it will-it already is.

I don't think the role of co2 as a considerable role in the warming of our planet and the subsequent changes that may occur as being hysterical in nature.
When someone uses comments from HVR to dismiss science, it is like the GOD-DUNIT theorists. They have no evidence, just a belief that their politics may be at risk. Global governance just sounds like paranoia to me. It will never happen and global cooperation is a referendum I'd like to envision. But science should drive this cooperation.

January 2008 was an exceptional month for our planet, with a significant cooling, especially since January 2007 started out well above normal.
January 2008 capped a 12 month period of global temperature drops on all of the major well respected indicators. I have reported in the past two weeks that HadCRUT, RSS, UAH, and GISS global temperature sets all show sharp drops in the last year.

Depends on data used. NASA says its warming, Hadley says it's cooling over last four years. However, there are no permanent weather stations in the Antarctic, so Hadley ignores this area, where most warming takes place. Also, 90% of the excess heat due to higher greenhouse gas levels has gone into the oceans, and just 3% into warming the atmosphere. The oceans have warmed since 1999, which willmelt the ice caps. See 'Simulated and observed variability in ocean temperature" on PNAS site.

how does Carboniferous CO2 levels show the complete CO2 and temperature history? Carboniferous is a time period of 74 million years, not the whole time period.
also the graph doesnt really prove anything other than the temp and co2 levels were similar, a lot of other factors contribute to global warming. also persent day levels of co2 are like 392ppm, so the climate will become warmer as a result

First of all he misreads graph data (lies) to try and make his point, secondly he's entirely wrong there are TONS of graphs that show temp vs CO2 (with temp rising as CO2 rises). Furthermore CO2 IS NOT evenly distributed in the atmosphere jet streams cause CO2 to collect in certain areas (such as the poles) and trap heat there as opposed to other areas. The whole water vapor argument is BS debunked years ago dude needs to look up REAL shit not FAKE shit.

Looking at the past ice core data, warming occurred first, then CO2 increased later, on avg by 800 later.
That is not in dispute, but alarmists still cling to their hoax.

That's a misleading argument, during the interglacial cycle. Changes in other factors like the sun causes the earth to come out of the ice age causing more CO2 to be released. But the additional CO2 causes further warming and thus CO2 eventually leads the warming.

There is not evidence that CO2 magnified the warming already occurring.
It hasn't happened now. A 1.7F increase in 150 years & 1/3 of that happened before major emissions.
The CO2 has increased 35% (100ppm)in the last century.
Between ice ages temps varied 22F, while CO2 varied 100ppm.
Research & do math. The alarmists are flawed.

Whilst I am not qualified to know where the Carbon issue will end. You don't have to be Einstein to work out, that, the Earth's resources do not have an unlimited capacity for plunder and wasteful consumption. So, if we don't burn, choke or have to jump off continents, due to heat and water, we can still look forward to starving on mass, in the future. As well as choking on thinning air, due to tree and plant loses and emissions. Machines can eat the earth in a breath, as they do.
