@SebasRabet Trust me, I've been Searching for an Original Voice for a Decade now, & this borrows from the updated take on Jazz Vocals. It's been done before many times & is nothing Special. If anything, it's near to Bland. But she can sing & so I won't go that far. POP on the other hand has seen this whole Whitney Houston & White Girl trying to sound like an African American Power Soul Singer thing get out of hand. It's all Ego & Vanity being Screamed hitting as many notes as possible. Awful.

(in my opinion for what it's worth, im only 18, don't have that much knowledge of old songs, just know classics, and dont really find them sound like this)

I Could go on.. & on my friend! =) But because of abominations like the X-factor & A/BGTalent, Big Greedy Labels etc. Singers wanting a commercial success feel they have to imitate, or reflect another Singer. It's called "Being Accessible". It Sucks.
