antivirus 2010 is really scary... Last year, I was browsing the web for cool images of Mitsubishi Eclipses (on a GREEN rated site), when suddenly, antivirus 2010 popped up. What's even scary about it is that it will sometimes play a voice saying "New Virus Found!".

I've been redirected from myspace without even clicking on anything to download antivirus 09/10 multiple times.

I find it best to open task manager and completely kill the process instead of clicking on the popup generated from the site.

Anyone else that has had this redirection problem? I know my computer is not infected, as this happened with two different pc's, one which was new out of the box protected with avast.

@shygreenpoodle I think that Myspace allows Ads and Rogues are in a way an add so they get through. I've had this occur with deviantART many times.

AVSystem Pro is hard to get off, this is easy, ill tell how, i removed it in my dads when he caught it, Start>Run type in msconfig and go to Startup delete any strange processes (my dad's process is "b.exe" without the quotes.) Restart your computer and ur done, now for Malwarebytes, download that and remove it forever.

Security Tool is very common. Antivirus 2010 is gone. And is the easiest rouge to remove. Security tool disables task manager, changes background, stops you from opening ANYTHING, downloads trojans,worms, and hijackers to your system, and basically, steals your personal info. How about you delete?

As soon as you get a pop up of any of these antivirus programs hit the main power button on your system and shut it down. Most times this is the best way to deal with them. clicking on them in any way could activate them so don't. Then just reboot delete your Browsing history run a scan and it will be freed up and safe to surf again

That also happened to me and I used my anitvirus program cyberdefender to remove the thing, and as soon as it got removed, it stopped running and got deleted from my pc.
