  • an one year huge hawk head decal would be that easy too?

  • how would you scrape it off without using something sharp? The only thing with a thin enough edge to get behind the decal would be something sharp....just saying

  • so i bought a 96 civic to work on; and its got stickers nd decls and this is what cme up? >.> big help..

  • so i search how to get decals off of a car... and your video said how do you get decals off a car?

this is a sticker, you said it yourself in the video -_-

  • or you could use wd40

  • dude, next time wear a clean, dry (aka no sweat stains) T-shirt when presenting for eHOW. oh, and you missed that big sticker on the rear window. anyways, the COOL sticker you removed was a compliment for that ugly Jeep.

  • heat gun from lowes 20bucks work even better and on a decal thats been on for 5 years

  • Could I use a blow torch ?

  • @jordanjcm yea u can it works real good, no joke at all.

  • @jordanjcm Yes you can :) results may vary though

  • @jordanjcm i know your comment is old but that has to be a jok, right

  • @markmarshall39 I used a blow torch and my decal caim right off. The "goo gone" did not get rid off the marks left over though.

  • @jordanjcm thank you il have to try something cause these emblems are a pain

  • Hey, I found some more of these videos here on this website:

    m0ar [DOT] org/2320

(Replace [DOT] with . ) - Pretty cool stuff! :D

  • I have a '95 Supra with stock stripe decals down each side of the car. Scared to attempt to remove them myself from what I have read, if they have been stuck there for 15 years i can't imagine they will come off very clean

  • @Wi3dMaNThey probably won't come off clean at all, but it can be done. Heat is the key. A blow dryer will work. The key trick is to peel it SLOWLY. Keep it hot, peel it slow. Once it's off, you'll probably have a mess of adhesive left over. There is 2 ways to go about this...

1.) Go to a local sign shop & ask for some Rapid Remover (they may give it to you).

2.) Buy Denatured Alcohol and put some elbow grease into rubbing the adhesive off.

    Hope that helps. :-)

  • @VeritasDecalsApparel It has been done. there was a bit of ghosting, but got a professional cut wax and it's not very noticeable. I pumped a good 35 hours into peeling em off, was absolutely painful. the decal didn't peel at all, just ripped which meant I had to scratch it off slowly with my fingers. brutal job, but worth it.

  • goo gone didn't work for me. I have stickers on my car from 2 years ago and it left residue all over. it didn't work at all... i scrubbed as hard as i could too

  • @Steve30814

    On the paint or window?

  • @VeritasDecalsApparel

it was on the paint but i got it off with finger nail polish removal, but i didn't know it would stain it, now I need to know how to get the finger nail polish removal stain off my paint. Am I going to have to wax it or is there an easier way?

  • @Steve30814 Nail polish remover eats away the clearcoat on your car

  • that sticker couldnt of been on there to long.try taking off a sticker someone put on the paint of your car 2 years ago.dont want to peel the paint off.grrrrrr

  • @SuperD104 the sticker's gone, it was the sticker residue that wouldn't come off.

  • thanks soo much it worked!!! : )

  • what about dealer stickers

  • man i sware if someone did that to my truck omg i would flip

  • I wish Removing a 5 year old decal was that easy.

  • @Djsheengone try using a bondo applicator and a heat gun, that is what I used to remove 14 year old decals off a conversion van.

  • Thanks man, you are awesome! The thought of removing paint or scratching your car is scary haha
