May I ask to get the lyrics, I would like to send this to someone. I love this song, and this video. I am a native american woman who believes that our culture is not appreciated enough and I am often discriminated against for expressing my culture as a youth & forced to live in this american culture. I was raised in pow wows with my grandmother & father but they recently passed, my mother has little to no culture, so thank you for allowing me to re-experience my memories.

Listening to this made my heart cry. My father was fullblood Shawnee/Sauk and Fox Nation and raised us in ways of his father who was a Peyote Chief and mother as Christian as they come. Neither spoke English and I was educated at Chilocco Indian Agricultural School in Oklahoma in the mid-50s. You sing from my background and Thank You Tenderly and with Love.
