I actually tried to believe that the show was real, now i know for sure that it is fake, i am over with it especially since Lauren is gone..............The City definately is fake, i know, but the way that the Hills began intially i know was real, when u would see Heidi and Lauren just hanging out with no makeup, but now it seems like these ppl sleep with it on. I thinks is just rude of all these ppl to mislead a faithful audience like that, it is just wrong.

Believe it or not it could've been anyone on the phone. She could've gotten a call from a friend of hers that was talking about a break up, notice how Lauren didn't really say anything at all to him? she mumbled but didn't actually say anything. Its called EDITING FOOTAGE.

Spencer probably wasn't even talking to anyone on the other line, he probably refused to do it cuz he IS that stubborn, and the producers of the show made him pretend to be on the phone to add "shock value" to the finale.
