  • he's an albino ?

  • You need a decent-size wheel so that the hamster's back isn't arched when trying to use it. Try to mix their diet up to. Try mixing in a little Hard-boiled egg/chicken/cheese, but stay away from GREENS, stuff like carrots is fine.

  • Whered you get the campbell hamster?

  • @dylan1171

I got them from my local pet store, however you can get them at just about any pet store.

  • Awesome, country music, my favorite!!!!!

  • do russian dwarf hamsters bite?

  • @mouserock1

There really isn't a species of hamster that won't bite from my experience. However you may find an individual who doesn't. For example, Charlie never bit anyone, while his brother Sam was a little monster who would go out of his way simply to bite whomever was interacting with him.

  • hey clean your habitat first hehe kidding anyway I'm planning to buy a hamster like yours and I'm wondering if I can put a male and a female in one cage? and if the female gave birth is it safe to let the dad stay in the same cage? please answer me because I can't afford a roborovski right now I know you can put 2 robo in one cage but how about russian? :) thanks a lot ^^

  • The habitrail OVO cage is good for dwaf hamsters, no wire bars, and plenty of room. It's also VERY easy to clean out. But I would really advise not using that cage for syrians, it's too small for them and can cause them to get really stressed. Both my syrians died in that cage, from wet-tail. I now own 2 russians, and they fit perfectly into the cage.

  • wow

  • my hamster has a wired cage and she is very chubby so she can go threw cause the house bars are thin...

  • thx for the tips

  • were do yu think i can buy a 10 g tank at? cos i want to get mine at the cheapest price. and were did yu buy the screening?

  • what size tank is that and where did you get that water bottle hook...

    THANKS

  • @cupcake12345678901

The tank is fifteen gallons, and I got the water bottle hook at my local petstore, although I'm sure you could find it at Petco or Petsmart. If not, try looking on eBay. (:

  • i have a question since u mentioned that bored hamsters can get obese very easily, should the food bowl always be filled 24/7?

  • @cupcakewhorexo The food bowl should be filled at all times, as hamsters tend to enjoy storing their seeds. However, if you provide toys, wheels, tubes, etc. that allow the hamsters to get the exercise they need, they will not have a weight problem. (:

  • @livelovelaugh297 ahh i see thanks!

  • @cupcakewhorexo whats obese ??? what can it do

  • @cupcakewhorexo whats obese ??? what can it do

  • solid wheel not bars wheel, bar wheels are dangerous, since hammy could get his/ her leg stuck and broken leg

  • @Maltray

Actually, the wheel is specifically made with a " criss- cross" bar design so that the hamster's feet will not slip through. But thanks for the advice! (:

  • thank you :) i think ill upload a video of my hamster hurby :) he is really cute! add me as a friend plz! :) bye!

  • if you have 2 dwarf hamsters, do they fight? please anwser me back :)

  • @MrCocacola123456789

It really depends. Keeping two hamster together is generally never a good idea, as they will fight. However, my hamsters are brothers and have been together since birth, and fortunatly get along well.

  • @livelovelaugh297 thank you :) i think ill upload a video of my hamster :) he looks real cute but i cn not hold him yet :( add me as a friend plz

  • r these siberian hamsters

  • @BubbleBailey1

Nope. Siberian hamsters are also known as winter whites, which are a different species from my hamsters. (:

  • What's the white one called?

  • @RBLXBurntoast78

The white hamster? Hes a Campbell's Russian Dwarf Hamster.

  • Though your hamsters feet don't fall through the slits of a mesh cage, it can cause a sort of blister like sore on the bottom of their feet later on in life.

  • @TotalRandom789

Wire cages work, as long as the bars are spaced close enough that the hamster cannot squeeze in between them. What type of wheel do you have? Some hamsters prefer solid wheels, while others don't. Can you're hamster easily reach the wheel? As for to males in a cage, it is not generally recommended. However, my hamsters are brothers, and are literally inseprable.

  • When you take your hamsters out how often do they poop on the carpet or wood etc.

  • Uh, not much. Some people put newspaper or some type of sheet under the hamster's play area to reduce the amount of clean-up needed.

  • what gallon is the tank i have a 10 and is newspaper ok and wood shavings? like sawdust? idk HELP!

  • @hottie34203 You cannot use newspaper, because the ink can be toxic. Nor should you use sawdust, because it can cause respitory illness.

  • is the campbell dwarf, russian dwarf, and winter white dwarf hamsters the same thing?

  • Campbell's Dwarf and Russian Dwarfs are the same, but Winter Whites are a different breed, although they look pretty similar. (:

  • @livelovelaugh297 thanks i was thinking of getting a dwarf but the campbell and winter white look almost the same so it got confusing. thanks again

  • why do u have to give treats everyday why cant u just give thema treat 2-3 times a week?

  • I didn't say you had to give them treats daily. You can give treats to your hamsters whenever, I just simply stated that you shouldn't give them more them 2-3 a day.

  • @mouserock1 actually it is a nice thing to give your hamster 1 or 2 treats a day, y is that a bad thing?

  • @thegreendaymcr

i do not agree, i have read and heard from friends that if u give a havester too many treats it will become fat, sick, or posibly die.

if u do not want to listen to me u dont have to. but i am worning u that ur pets may get sick if u feed them to much treats.

  • @mouserock1 actually i didnt say that i said give 1 or 2 a day. NOT LOADS!

  • where did u get ur hadaway for ur hamsters?

  • Its a Puzzle Playground from Petsmart, but I'm sure you could probably find it at any petstore that carries hamsters/hamster stuff. (;

  • are bins with alot of air sipply okay too?????? cuz they r like a glass aquarium and light like a wiered cage as well......

  • That would probably be OK, just make sure it has lots of ventalation. (:

  • are bins with alot of air sipply okay too??????

  • Hey I have 2 of those habitrail safair cages setup and connected with tubes but im wondering how many dwarfs I can get? i was thinking of a group of 4-5

  • @Dopemop

I would say 4 Dwarf Hamsters at the most, because they prefer even numbers, and like to have their own " territories" in the cage. You can get by with odd numbers, but it most of the time results in one hamster being left out/ pushed around. Hope this helps!

  • wow

  • Um, okay then? ;P

  • Thank you for the video :) i think it was great and a great help, i should be getting hamsters soon wat type of hamsters were yurs? x

  • Thanks! :]

My hamsters are both male Campbell's Russian Dwarf hamsters.
