  • Amazing.

  • Great story, we all can rise to the occasion if situations permit and they seem to more and more. Thanks for sharing.

  • 1LBRTY: You gather your strength from within, which may or may not be a fantasy ( I don't know your inter strength). Glenn Beck chooses to say he gets it from a God. Does it really matter as long as he changes the lives of others for the good of mankind?

I would guess, because of his vast audience, Mr. Beck touches more of mankind for the greater good than you or I do.

  • That little boy is more representative of the Chinese people than their government is. He is an inspiration not only to his own nation, but should serve as the example on how to behave toward others in need no matter what country we come from.

When we were in China and needed help - we found that the Chinese would go out of their way to be helpful, even when they couldn't speak English. What decent people we met.

  • Good question!

  • goddamn you glenn beck and your fuckin stories that make me wanna cry! Thank you!

  • Truely wonderful to have the strength and soul to do the right thing when fear is trying to turn us into animals.

There is always hope. It is never too late to do the right thing.

  • And the children shall lead them.

  • A Child Shall Lead Us (Is. 11:6, 8-9; Mk. 10:15; Matt. 18:1ff; Lk. 11:11ff)

  • Nice citation... but, if you really wanna get specific, it says "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." I was going for the whole spirit of it.

  • If someone believes in god and is inspired to do good, it's ok. If someone believes in god, because it helps him to accept and come thru terrible things, it's ok. Still, i don't believe in god.

But we have a saying here in Germany: "There are no atheists in a trench." (Trench here means a trench, where soldiers hide to fire at the other side like in first world war.)

  • Why? Why did Glenn mention God? Because Glenn believes in God, as do I, and is not ashamed to express that belief. Those of who do believe, we do see God in everything, good and bad. I am truly sorry that you do not believe. I pray that some day you may come to.

  • If you're not moved by this story, whether it's true or not, you have no soul. Whether I agree with him or not (and I'll have my words with him on health care), this man has integrity and honour and for that he has my respect.

  • More compassion for the party of tolerance and understanding....

  • Yes, yes indeed. Take any opportunity you can to express your hatred and distaste for someone who may hold an opinion that differs from yours. A man who would undoubtedly show you much more respect and and kindness than your behavior would deserve. Well done.

  • Im sure Your mother would be proud of this comment. Why is Glenn a POS for telling a story about a brave little boy? You are without a soul... Keep watching Media Matters You Libtard

  • Oh my gosh. Wow.

  • Wow, what a breathtakingly good story! I am in awe and at a loss for words!
