  • This king tooked alot of places, my ancestors lost their homes because of this man. Thats maybe why the Irish king, my ancestor moved to the west side of Norway. I' am not sure if this was henry or not, but it was a British monarch

  • Listening to this guy's work, I count two or three mistakes per minute! It just gets worse and worse with each instalment.

Doesn't he have any kind of fact-checking?

  • mycket intressant

  • THX FOR THAT I NEED TO LEARN ABOUT IT AT SCHOOL ssry about typing big

  • In the UK this week on the History channel, many shows are dedicated to Henry. Should be interesting for any royalists out there.

  • I like your videos, littlemisssunnydale.

  • 2009 is the 500th anniversary of the young Henry VIII coming to the throne. Henry VII died April 21st. Henry VIII was proclaimed king on April 23rd and crowned June 24th.

  • Do you know what the music is called that starts at 1:58. I have heard it several times during programmes about the Tudors... Thanks! ; )

  • It is a track called 'en vray amoure'. I have posted it in my Tudor music playlist.

  • El rey , padre de enrique Vlll, Al enviudar la Reina doña Juana de castilla, sabiendo de su poder y su fertilidad, quiso casarse con ella, pero lo rechazo.ahi no estaba tan loca no ? jjja

  • Henry V wasn't his ancestor.

  • Well, yes in a way he was. I mean in a King way. Plus, I guess in an in law way too...

  • John of Gaunt's son Henry IV (from his 2nd marriage) was the father of Henry V. Therefore, John of Gaunt was Henry V's grandfather.

Henry VIII's father was Henry VII. Henry VII's mother was Margaret Beaufort. Therefore, she was Henry VIII's grandmother.

John of Gaunt's son John Beaufort (from his 4th marriage) was Margaret Beaufort's grandfather.

So, Henry VIII's great-great-great grandfather was John of Gaunt. Henry V's grandfather was also John of Gaunt. They are related.

  • Related, yes, but VIII wasn't an actual *descendant* of V. It's sloppy and completely inaccurate to confuse "successor" or "relative" with "descendant".

But this doesn't even scrape the surface of the mistakes this guy has made in all the clips littlemisssunnydale has kindly uploaded (and I mean the "kindly" sincerely - it's good that this stuff is available to be critiqued).
