A: Of course there is! ;) - Just close the door, and crough infront of the door. Then the tank wouldn't be able to break it, when you crough infront of it. You know. You blocking the door. :)

Can't break it down on versus. I was on the 3rd level on Blood Harvest and spawned as a tank before they opened the door. I was hiding in the tree on the side and had to pop out and hit them when I could but the door never broke down. But you can still hit through it =)
