Guildford is a crap place to drive in and that is why I still go by train, you are right in saying that in fact it isn't cheaper in money, but it is very much less stressful and when you get there it's really an OK place for shopping and eating.x.

I know Guildford is thought to be one of the safer towns, but I know many people who've been beaten up by dickhead chavs while out.

I was born in Guildford in 1972 and left in 1990 aged 18. The reason I don't live there anymore was for all the reasons in this video. It never used to be like this - as a teenager in the eighties it was awesome!

@michaelward1234 Well the council tax is high, the traffic and public transport are dredful, the parking spaces are smalle, and I have known people to get beaten up in town, although it isn't like Aldershot I know. Anyway, this video isn't supposed to be taken so seriously.

Guildford sucks. the roads are like some fucking pathways. you cant even get into the city in a certain time of the day. Or if you are willing to play smart, there is another treat for you, get in the middle of a TRAFFIC JAM, Yay! this town sure is awesome, one of the best places on earth i must say.

"And a reputation for violence" it's the only sentence I disagree with in your amusing video. I've never spoken to anyone about Guildford and have the word violence come up........we have some of the best crime figures in the country. Even if we didn't, were you ever afraid to walk in the town during the day or evening.......if you were at night I'd suggest you could easily be in any town centre at the point.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, you obviously put a lot of time into the video, so I assumed you were unemployed, probably correct. Guildford isnt nearly that bad, never in my life have I had to spend hours looking for a space, 30 mins at the most, on a very busy Xmas shopping day. Excellent video! I would add the traffic is normally the reason why the bus services don't stand much chance of ever keeping to a timetable. You're spot on otherwise though, nice one!
