@ssjpui ....Well ok, I have a ICS M4 too, so what you do is you have 1 uppergearbox with a M100 spring in it and you have a second Uppergearbox with a M120 in it. That way you can quick change the gearbox and get a lower FPS for different fields

I think it is a bad idea. You are trying to maximize compression to get the best possible consistency, and with this thing you make compression worse...and sliding a metal rod down the barrel will scratch it, making the accuracy worse

@RoyalPredator You can use it, because it is just a normal V3 with something on top. He said thatz it is not compatible with the new Tokyo Marui Recoil Shock gearboxes, as they have a different design.

this is pretty awesome as i have just a standard cheapo aeg and if i wanted to get to the gearbox the gun just splits in half after unscrewing like 30 screws and it is a pain to put the screws back in and the trigger and spring so if i install this its easy as pie to make the piston power better :)

I dont like this because to take advantage of this you need to put a high fps spring in there in order to get the range of fps youll like. so it the same as a normal system when your at 450 fps but when you tone it down to say 300 the result is: all of the ware and tear of a high power spring, none of the benefit. seriously it isnt that hard to change a spring the night before a game..

The tool is polished super smooth. Unless you jam it down the barrel roughly, you aren't going to scratch your barrel. Notice when we do it, we insert the tool very gently and turn the hop-up off. Done gently and carefully, it will NOT scratch your barrel at all.

This would still make the gun illegal for CQB play. Most cqb fields don't allow velocity reducers, and this is a velocity reducer. So, interesting concept, but not that useful at some if not most cqb fields.

The video does not focus (with a good reason) on fps variation from shot to shot. This is the second huge drawback of this device, check other videos. FPS variation from shot to shot is more than 15 and that's clearly ruins your accuracy...

@Yams313 Just make sure your barrel is made of an alloy that's harder than the rod you are feeding down it. At least it's not as bad as those clear glass biovals... I've seen those destroy barrels if they get a chip or a crack in them.

If you are going to modify your gun to this extent anyway, I would assume you already have a somewhat higher quality barrel installed.

@Yams313 This actually doesn't do any or very little harm to you innerbarrel. This method is around for some time in the GBBR. I have used one like that with a GBBR and a tightbore 6,01mm and I have very little scratches inside. Also you usually change the FPS just once a game.
