Man I would give alotttt to be a kid growing up in Tokyo I'm 14 and live in manhattan there is a biggg difference between these city's because its so dirty here everywhere I look it's dirty hobos people I scared of. It looks so sexy those buildings and my family is reallllyyyy poor so I probably won't ever visit Tokyo I might not ever make it out of NY or NJ I move here from NJ
respect endless respect for Japan and its people!they were awesome!if a 9.0 had struck italy....it would disappeared...and all people ,including me,will get mad!!thank you for sharing with us your video!greetings from Turin italy!
It took 2 hours or so, maybe a bit longer. We had friends who walked for 4 or 5 hours, then when they arrived home their apartment looked like it had been robbed, stuff fallen over, fridge door open and contents on the kitchen floor, etc. In our home on the 6th floor we were lucky, 2 books had fallen of the bookcase and a wardrobe door had opened, that was it! Thanks for your comment.
Me and two friends walked from Shinkjuku area to Nishi-Tokyo. 25km took us 4hours... Epic night! Everybody walked like lemmlings to their homes.. I will never forget that night..
I was in Ginza when the quake hit with a group of students from my college. We were over there doing some biology studies and we ended up walking back to our hotel in Ueno. It was crazy how many people were walking but how calm it was at the same time. America would never be that calm in a time like that!
u r one of the missing britons that they talk about appeantly 12 000 were thought to be in japan they are even sending flights too tokyo to bring ppl back home.
Now that the Japanese government has witnessed the pain of their own people, they should stop denying and start compensating the millions of families affected by their past brutal war crimes, including, forced labor, sex slavery and biological weapons testing on humans. My heart goes to the Japanese citizens in pain, because I have absolutely no sympathy for the war criminal Japanese government.
@kishasland I think one reason, though. Is that they really aren't in an area that was hugely effected by either the earthquake, tsunami, or nuclear problems.
I miss Shibuya, I was stationed in Yokosuka on the Kitty Hawk before it was decommissioned...This really sucks and I hope people in Sendai will be able to pull off a great clean up and hopefully no more people are dead.

They are so calm and collective, after such a disaster. I commend them all .
