See this is where i think a car goes wrong: a man with family and friends like me needs a car that seats at least 3 people in the back. So that said, whats up with BIG armrest that extends so much. But i got to admit this car is unique, not that i would buy because of this, but its still nice.

98% of the world population don't have money to buy this ttype of cars and i understand why there are so stupid and ignorant coments comparing the cars....the reason is that who compares the cars is englobed in the 98% population that want's but cannot, that think they know how to evaluate a car but the brain is missing....poor guys get a brain..... do you really want to compare a Porsche Panamera to a Rapide? this is the car everyone compares the panamera to? haha its my first time seeing it and it looks like everyother 4door...panamera is different beautiful powerful, sexy and its a porsche!!!...aston martin. lol.......

Aston martin-Lagonda made a 4door in 64 or 68 called the rapide. There was a limited run of 7 4door aston in the late 70s wich was a v8 vantage with 4 doors (just like the new one 4door db9) with a lagonda oval grill and badge. the awful 80 lagonda. and this so that would make it the 4th 4door made by aston martin- lagonda and the 1st aston martin 4door to carry the aston badge.

what bothers me is this produces 470bhp, the DBS produces 510 and same with the v12vantage, thats from a 6.0v12.. and these cars are not light.. in my own opinion, aston's greatest flaw is its engine, since it has a reputation of breaking down specially when it attempted to use those paddleshifters with the vanquish and vanquish S.. a ferrari 4.3v8 from scuderia generates 510bhp, 4.5 by the italia produces 562. but Astons are really a thing of beauty tho..

Aston Martin are going down hill lately. Ever since the DB9 hit the market every car since has bein a shrunk (V8 & V12 Vantage) to a fancy dress model (DBS) and now the pointless streched version (Rapide).

The rear looked small till the guy said he was 6'4" lol. Wonder how they managed to get the head room in the rear without going the humpty dumpty look of the panamera. The first 4 door AM was the very square looking Lagonda of the '80s I think. Giant ugly thing with a digital dash that broke down frequently i believe.

They got the formula right, aswell as Cadillac with the Sixteen, BMW with the CS and Benz with the CLS. The Panamera is far from perfect.

The Panamera is not perfect, true. But as far as I know, its the fastest sedan around the Ring. That's pretty good for Porsche's first crack at a four door.

I'm sure they will continue to go back and forth for years to come. But thats what makes these cars so good. Truth is, the Panamera is ugly and Caddy is synonymous with old grandmas. So pick your poison. For a sedan give me an M5 or a S65 AMG

Thing is, the Panamera looks like it was beaten as a child. And, the Aston is the most beautiful of all cars mentioned. It is the most emotionally satisfying. If it doesn't move you, that's your problem, not its.

yeah i never said it was a good looking car, although aston have been producing variations of the db9 for ages now but it works for them. its just this has similar power as a quattroporte s and thats alot cheaper and also very good looking
