i think Danzig is a fantastic songwrtier and performer, and even studio vocalist. but why is is he never sounds that great live?

@TrueIronMaidenFan depends on mix and recording quality i've seen him many of times and he sounds great live, trust me. these recordings don't do him justice.

@TrueIronMaidenFan saw him in April of this year, and I'm gonna see him again on Halloween :D can't wait for it.

@TrueIronMaidenFan he's still got it, for awhile he took a year off from a full tour, and let his voice rest and its pretty much revitalized his voice. In april he sounded great, but the best I saw him was in 2007 his voice was in the shape as it was from How the Gods Kill era, it was fucking epic.

@TrueIronMaidenFan he was in his dressing room, might of been burned out from the set(s). he's getting up there in age, he's got the pipes still, but he is bloated, and has thinning hair, but age does that to you. i give him credit for going out to play live, halloween was no doubt one of the best times i've seen him.

@zigdan realy? that must have been dissapointing. he did almost all Misfits songs. he should have done stuff like How The Gods Kill, Her Black Wings, On a Wicked Night, Tired of being Alive, Her Black Wings, ect. i mean come on!
