XBox 360 or PS3?

I recently got a PS3, after standing in the store for half an hour staring at both systems trying to decide which to get. I picked the PS3 for a few simple reasons, free online multiplayer, lower hardware failure rate, and easy hdd upgrade. The 360 uses a proprietary drive, the PS3 you can get any 2.5" hdd and stick it in there without voiding the warranty, and upgrade a 160 gig system to a 1TB system. Both have great exclusives, and I'll probably get a 360 after the next xbox launches.

Quite an educated opinion at that. Thanks for clarifying. I too prefer the PS3, but I see why some people love the 360. PSN has improved a lot (outage aside) since 2008, and the main argument now is whether or not cross-game chat is worth $60 a year. That said, it IS a matter of opinion for the most part, but the best-value console is clear as day, and if you can only afford one, the PS3 stands tall as the clear choice for those who want to stretch their buck furthest. From a technological standpoint, the PS3 is clearly the superior console. You get higher definition games, Bluray movies, hot swappable hard drives, bluetooth, etc. XBox 360 aint got jack on PS3 except for XBox Live. That's it. Online play is the ONLY feature that keeps the XBox alive, but comparing hardware to hardware, the PS3 is the better machine. Of course, gaming PC pwns the hell out of both, but PS3 pwns the hell out of XBox sans Live.

I like Xbox more, i love the live.. there aren't many fanboys that go cry about stuff and they have better connections also, I don't see host migration that often. Also, most of my friends have it, and there are more challenges.. i would say. In ps3 it isn't that hard to win a match, however in xbox it is harder.. mainly because I think that ps3 is full of little kids, you could tell because of all the comments. Also the controller, i love the xbox controller, the ps3 one is too small.

the PS3 has Wi-Fi built in, a build in power supply, and it's better built

@Cflores008 Okay bitches. Search in google Black ops xbox vs. black ops 1 hour of research and you'll notice Xbox has 20FPS better than PS3 almost constantly. @TheJayJunkie 20 extra frames? The human eye can only see 60 Frames a second! 80 frames is overkill dude! And a fix for the RRoD is like $60 and 5 outta 8 times unreliable! And I bought mine at Costco, as long as I have the receipt then i'm good!
