Making Memories Slice Elite - CHA Summer 2010

Has anyone tried cutting a square on the elite? Mine cut lopsided and super sloppy. But my other shapes are fine. Is this just my machine ?

My slice just stopped working and only used it a few times and nobody wants to fix it for me in Australia it's just a paperweight now.It's not worth sending overseas to get tested.

Check on the FACEBOOK site Making Memories, they had said and wrote those of us that posted to ask if we were interested on hearing if and when they decided to do an upgrade or trade in. I agree I'm disabled on oxygen and it took me over a year to save for this, then the next week I swear the ELITE came out. The Ebay seller I bought my original from, new, did not take returns. GRRRRRRRRRR

I hate to be "that person" but when you buy an electronic item and the new version comes out a month later, would you really expect to have the option to trade in or replace it? Technology changes so rapidly you can never guess what's coming next. I just bought my slice on ebay just two months ago, but I knew this new one was coming out.

I agree with Terri as well. I've had my Slice since 2008, still going strong and I love it but frustrated with this

I just bought the older model a few months ago! Wish I had waited! I'm having so much trouble with my current machine. Terri B--I so agree with you! It should be offered as a replacement if you had purchased a Slice within the last 6 months! Grrrrr! Frustrating it is!

Cuts more precise?! This should be offered as a REPLACEMENT to current owners since their original Slice machine never cut precise as they claimed it should have. None of their software "upgrades" really make an improvement either... Frustrating to see this! Thanks CC for the CHA coverage!

@terribradford Tried to respond Check on Making Memories on Facebook, they send us a letter asking if we wanted to be notified if and when there was an upgrade, which we deserve or trade in. Disabled my oxygen costs me 500 a month plus pills etc, it took me over a year to save for the original, I bough it and no kidding a week later the new o ne came out I've been writing and asking ever since. Try it on Facebook LMK if you hear of one! Thanks A like crafter.
