Just a FYI. A MRE is not cooked because it is already cooked. The MRE Heater is exactly what it is labeled as a "Heater". You heat a MRE not cook it.

quick tip if you don't have anything to heat it with at all put it in youre shirt the heat and sweat of you're body will cook it.might be gross but in a worst case senario it might help eating a horrible meal

On a side note: don't be discouraged if you mess up heating your first ever mre i did and had to eat it cold because the heater took a dump on me. I didn't die eating it cold so don't worry you wont get sick.

Thanks for the video. Just finished eating my 1st MRE. Pretty good. Except the Garlic Mashed potatoes I had were VERY potent. Tasty but potent. I'm assuming that's incase of capture, I can just breath on the enemy and my garlic breath will knock them out thereby allowing escape. :-) Anyway, thanks for the instructions.
