She's totally turning into Diana Ross. "I'll sing one word - The audience sings a whole verse. I'll sing another word - The audience sings another verse." Having been a fan for almost 28 years, I'm so glad I saw her in her heyday.
@MisterBlue24 This was her Memphis Blues tour. 2/3 of the setlist were unfamiliar blues numbers with no audience sing-a-long. She played this tour in smaller 2,000 seat venues (instead of arenas), and was fully engaged in this performance. There was only audience participation during the small part of the show with songs from what you call "her heyday". If you missed this tour, you missed seeing a unique and impressive display of Cyndi's range.
@MaxSenn Yes, I'm very much aware it was her Memphis Blues tour. As I said before, I've been a fan for almost 28 years. I've seen her live in concert well over 30 times, and even managed to get her autograph twice at concerts, but never have I seen her be this "lazy" about singing... for lack of a better word. The fact that people were unfamiliar with songs is a bit of a poor excuse. I've been to lots of her concerts through the years where people didn't know the words to some songs.
lo mejor....

I was at this concert. Cyndi was great! Very cool to see RED hair again, too, after so long!
