I still live with my parents and it's kinda aggravating playing the Wii in a small bedroom (at least I'll have it when I move out in a year or two). We have a Playstation 3 also..but my boyfriend wants us to get a kinect. Still not 100% sure if I want to get one or not..
i'm not a fan of kinect at the moment, but more interested in how it will evolve into somethng more sophisticated not just for games but for general lifestyle use.

I wish game developers would take the time to make decent controls with the Kinect. It can be done. There's a guy on youtube who configured some controls for the Kinect to work on games like Skyrim, Bulletstorm, etc. The movements(him) looked natural.

I first owned a wii and loved it soooo much. II tried the Oscar move and I was practically just like the wii a copycat. I got a kinect and to me have tried the other two first I'd say the kinect wins because it's ,ore interactive and a more fun experience
Y like the Kinect because It uses full movement. Iventually all this will come to pass and we will get brain wave tech mixed with VR. Actually I am willing to bet movement will stay for workouts at home or gyms.

The Move is not used much and Kinect has its select genres (I would consider the Kinect better than Move since stuff like Dance Central looks cool).
On the other hand Wii, especially with Motion Plus, was used a lot. Yes, a lot of games made had bad controls (3rd parties). But we have seen it can be used great (ex. Red Steel 2, Wii Sports Resort, Zelda Skyward Sword).
Move has no good games based around it(games that i can use my regular controller don´t count,why would i get the move if i can use my regular controller?)
And the Wii has a nice mix between casual and hardcore,plus out of the three systems,the Wii has had the most quality games i´ve played =)
@RaycxellTorres Because a DS3 requires automated aim assist bots (whenever your crosshair is near an enemy the crosshair slows 45% to compensate for the Inaccuracy of analog controls [and it's still very bad compared to Keyboard/Mouse or the Move]) to work properly in any FPS or TPS IE Uncharted/Killzone whereas the Move is twice as accurate without the need for aim assist and it can also be read about 60% faster allowing for better immersion. It's almost as good as my keyboard/mouse setup.

I like the Kinect, but both that and the PSMove are too late to the party and with too few games to compete with the Wii's fucking HUGE motion game library. With that in mind, you might as well forget both and just buy a Wii instead. You also get access to Nintendo's back catalogue on the Wii Shopping channel...^_^

Nothing in the world is an original idea. Because Nintendo comes up with most of them. I know I will get flamed for this but every E3 I see Nintendo always comes out with something new and gets copied. But Microsoft actually came up with something original and that is the motion control without controllers. The PS move I'm sorry to say brings nothing new but the same thing as the Wii. But still it seems these other industries wait for Nintendo to make a move and if it works for them they do it.

My parents just got a xbox 360 with kinect last night and it blows hard. The PS3 move has to be alot better because the kinect you have to have alot of room to use. Couldnt even use the sports game it came with. Its a POS and I look forward to getting the PS3 move when I can. Get the awesome battle rifle for my move too and check out that time crisis and pray the next COD will intergrate the move.

Kinect has ALOT of major problems, The biggest problem being that you need like 6-9 foot in your room, not everyone has that kind of space. They need to reduce the amount of space required to play it. As for PS Move, I honestly haven't played it but it seems like a wiimote but with a retarded ball on the top. To be honest i do think the wii is the best of the three but thats just my opinion. I'm not being bias as I mainly play the 360 and only realy play the wii for zelda.
kinect can be a win if they start selling hardcore games like assassins creed... Move and Kinect are both garbage. The Move lags like crazy and the Kinect lags so bad that games are unplayable if you don't adapt to the lag. I wasn't impressed with either of 360 or PS3's game libraries before motion control, and I am certainly not interested in their quick thrown together Wii sport copy cat titles, or their half assed motion control patches for existing games like RE5 and MAG. Oh and did I mention that the Move and Kinect lag?

The Move is not used much and Kinect has its select genres (I would consider the Kinect better than Move since stuff like Dance Central looks cool).
On the other hand Wii, especially with Motion Plus, was used a lot. Yes, a lot of games made had bad controls (3rd parties). But we have seen it can be used great (ex. Red Steel 2, Wii Sports Resort, Zelda Skyward Sword).

Kinect has casual games everywhere
Move has no good games based around it(games that i can use my regular controller don´t count,why would i get the move if i can use my regular controller?)
And the Wii has a nice mix between casual and hardcore,plus out of the three systems,the Wii has had the most quality games i´ve played =)

@RaycxellTorres Because a DS3 requires automated aim assist bots (whenever your crosshair is near an enemy the crosshair slows 45% to compensate for the Inaccuracy of analog controls [and it's still very bad compared to Keyboard/Mouse or the Move]) to work properly in any FPS or TPS IE Uncharted/Killzone whereas the Move is twice as accurate without the need for aim assist and it can also be read about 60% faster allowing for better immersion. It's almost as good as my keyboard/mouse setup.

I like the Kinect, but both that and the PSMove are too late to the party and with too few games to compete with the Wii's fucking HUGE motion game library. With that in mind, you might as well forget both and just buy a Wii instead. You also get access to Nintendo's back catalogue on the Wii Shopping channel...^_^

i don't give a shit about kinect and move. move is a rip off and kinect is a huge peace of shit that doesn't even work. they're both pointless and they're pathetic attempts to cash in on the success of the wii, but it's not gonna work too well for 2 reasons. 1: motion controls aren't hot anymore 2: just cos you have motion controls doesn't mean you're gonna have the experience of the wii on your system. the most important thing that makes wii awesome are it's nintendo games, not motion controls.

Nothing in the world is an original idea. Because Nintendo comes up with most of them. I know I will get flamed for this but every E3 I see Nintendo always comes out with something new and gets copied. But Microsoft actually came up with something original and that is the motion control without controllers. The PS move I'm sorry to say brings nothing new but the same thing as the Wii. But still it seems these other industries wait for Nintendo to make a move and if it works for them they do it.

My parents just got a xbox 360 with kinect last night and it blows hard. The PS3 move has to be alot better because the kinect you have to have alot of room to use. Couldnt even use the sports game it came with. Its a POS and I look forward to getting the PS3 move when I can. Get the awesome battle rifle for my move too and check out that time crisis and pray the next COD will intergrate the move.

Kinect has ALOT of major problems, The biggest problem being that you need like 6-9 foot in your room, not everyone has that kind of space. They need to reduce the amount of space required to play it. As for PS Move, I honestly haven't played it but it seems like a wiimote but with a retarded ball on the top. To be honest i do think the wii is the best of the three but thats just my opinion. I'm not being bias as I mainly play the 360 and only realy play the wii for zelda.

The only downside of the PS Move is that it has to calibrate a bit more, but that shouldn't be an issue.

@cheeseball187 i like wii better than both (move is gay as hell) and i have kinect too but the wii is the starter of all this motion crap.. the only thing bad about wii is graphics

i think that kinect has a lot more potential then you are giving it credit, its only just came out. pretty soon Microsoft will find a way to incorporate halo or cod or some shit into it.

Move and Kinect are both garbage. The Move lags like crazy and the Kinect lags so bad that games are unplayable if you don't adapt to the lag. I wasn't impressed with either of 360 or PS3's game libraries before motion control, and I am certainly not interested in their quick thrown together Wii sport copy cat titles, or their half assed motion control patches for existing games like RE5 and MAG. Oh and did I mention that the Move and Kinect lag?
