  • Could you do a video on how you properly use bobby pins so that they are hidden and they hold well? Mine were showing all over the place in this style. Thanks!

  • I wish my hair was really long so I could do this..... You have very beautiful hair and thanks for the tutorial. :D

  • wow this is great thank you!!!!!!!!

  • I love this hairstyle, it's my favorite from lord of the rings, but I can't get it to stay up :( my hair is very long (down to the top of my thighs), and the bobby pins are pulled out by the weight of it. Do you have any advice? :)

  • I really love the lord of the rings as well, and ive been trying to copy most of the hairstyles as well, but im not very good. lol, i have very thick hair, and i tried to follow this tutorial and it came out really bulky, any advice you can give me?

  • We have a Medival Party the whole Weekend and Next Week too.

And I'm gonna do THIS hair!

    Video answer coming soon (:

long live LOTR!!! Greetz from germany

  • do you wear makeup? your gorgeous!

  • Ok ik hoor gewoon dat je nederlands bent! =D en ik zie omnia op de deur!^^

  • who is theosdred? xD

  • @TheBumbleBunny Théodred, son of Théoden king of Rohan =) He dies in the battle of the Fords of Isen.

  • @Loepsie I know but you said theosdred xD (or I heard it like that).... But you are really amazing!

  • @TheBumbleBunny her brother

  • @Ballet4Everz Isen't it Thèodred?? Since I think I heard you say TheosdredxD

  • WOW! gorgeous I think you have natural talent with hair and makeup you should get into that when you are older, BTW.... alot of people say you look like Mr.Bean which is insanely rude and FALSE! but i think you look like Mila Kunis from That 70's Show! tell me otherwise!!

  • You are wonderful! Thanks to you I learned to do a lot of hairstyles. I love to cook Eowyn. thank you! greetings from Polish :)

  • You should make a "how to successfully use bobby pins" for some of us who are absolute idiots on making that happen ahhahaha

  • @FutileGrief

    I agree with you!!!!

PLEASE, Loepsie, could you do that tutorial? I was able to argue with the bobby pin while trying to do the "hippy/bohemian hairstyle"!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this! My hair is the same texture as yours (nothing like Eowyn's -_-) and I'm glad to see that it works! :D

  • Love it!! :)

  • my favorite movie is lotr too!!

  • I love this hairstyle! I'm a huge fan of Lord of the Rings too and Eowyn is one of my favourite characters!

I'm so sad my hair is only a bit longer than shoulder-length and I can't do this yet!

Thank you so much for it!

  • If you do two very loose rope braids and twist them into large, loose buns, I think you'll get something closer to the hairstyle in the movie. They'll cover more of your head, than the tight, small rope braids, and if you do them in buns instead of crossing them over each other, the loose rope braids will form big loops. They wont look like buns so much as an intricate set of pinned curls. :)

  • The two towers is my fav., too! :D

  • You are SO adorable! I love Eowyn too and this has been a really great treat to see a take on her hair. I think I'm going to try this out on my hair. :D

  • That's so cool that you like the LOTR that much, honestly. Kinda makes me feel cool that I live in New Zealand. I had a few friends that were extras in the films, I could've been one but I had University assignments and just wasn't prepared to take time off to do itetc. Owell. Really loving your hair tutorials

  • I don't know much about LoTR..but...I can say, you look very dignified-elf-queen-ish. :D So pretty!

  • Darn you beat me to it! So now you can head off and find your Faramir.

  • @TheBritishTexan That's not a bad idea ;) Is it anything like your version, by the way? There must be a better way to do it than this =P

  • @Loepsie Ah, a girl can dream. (And I dream of non-canon, my poor Boromir.) You version is almost exactly like my version.

  • I always notice your hands, fingers, they're so narrow and slim and pretty!

    Sorry if I'm weird :)

  • oh wow it came out good O_O even for your lenght eventho i think your hair is long XD but good job!

  • It looks cool but i would have left the two long braids down because it looked way prettier down

  • I love love love this hairstyle ! I tried it on myself and it looked really good ! even though i have a lot of layers :) I would love if you would make more of LOTR hairstyles inspired by Eowyn or just any medival inspired hairstyles that you don't need heat for :) it is soooo pretty !

  • very pretty xD

  • oh thats cool, I cant wait til my hair is long enough to do those styles again.

  • I love your video game and movie tutorials. They're awesome. I can't remember any of the other hairstyles in The Lord of the Rings but if there are other ones please do them!!

  • May we please see some of your art? And a room tour?

  • Wow!! You're really talented!! I wish I was able to do a hairstyle like that too

  • Realistically this was done on a movie so they probably added hair pieces to get more hair. I love your intrepretation, I'm going to attempt something similar, great idea :)

  • Really nice! :D

  • @lew1580 I completely agreee!! They are SO unique!! And all possible to do. Lol so manymakeup gurus are asian (my point is their hair is really easy and low maintenance) and when I watch like bubzbeauty I get so frustrated because..well my hair type is completely different from theirs. Their 5 minute tutorials take like 1 hour for me. LOEPSIE IT THE BEST!!

  • You make the most beautiful hairstyles and I love learning frmo your videos, but the light is so dark and your hair, like mine, is quite dark and therefore it's quite difficult to see what you're doing sometimes. Is there anyway of better lighting your shots?

Besides that, wonderful videos, thanks so much.

  • "my hair is too short" i was laughing so hard. your hair is not too short. i wish i had your hair.

  • Nice job! I really like it!

  • This is so so pretty!

  • It's a fantastic hairstyle! And thak you for the rope braid. I always wanted to learn how to do it but didn't know what was it called. Thank you, again!

I have a mega LOTRcarving right now!

  • Love the bloopers indeed :D

  • Where'd you get the head piece?

  • @BonesxtoxPaste i got it at the Elf Fantasy Fair, it might be handmade I'm not sure...

  • Gorgeous - can't wait to try this!! I hope you have read the LOTR books too!

  • @PercivalHoward Of course ;) And many other Arda books ^-^

  • cool vid...love the bloopers :)

  • I love all of your videos, I'm in the growing out process too and I really appreciate the natural hair care tips and hair-friendly braided styles. Thanks so much :D

  • This is amazing. So pretty!!! Thank you for taking the time to do this elven hairstyle! :DDDD

  • @loepsie totally love this hairdo.. my hair will surely be too short for this but i think i can find my own "rendition" :D

yesterday i saw a girl wearing a hairstyle i can barely describe, but i'll try ;) she had this rope braid in a french-braid style down the back of her head.. you did something similar with two rope braids building something like a crown but i couldnt find the video :)

i think its a very pretty simple but uncommon look :) maybe you could try and see if you like it?

  • I can tell your English is actually getting better! One more year and I bet it'll be perfect! :D

  • Yes!! I've been wanting to recreate this for a while now. :)

  • Good job. That must have been difficult.

    P.S. I like your nails. :]

  • This is really cool. You did a great job. I love Lord of the Rings.

  • Yeaahhh I love Lord of the Rings

  • It looks great on you:)

  • Have you changed your parting? It looks dead nice :D

  • I love this loepsie!!!

  • Sad I found your channel after I chopped off my hair... :(

But I have a reason to grow it out again!!

  • Did you see the version of this that DressyTresses did? (Google 'dressytresses Eowyn updo', it's easy to find.) It's only a text tutorial, with one photo, but it's good for a general idea too. :)

  • i love lord of the rings, it is a obsession, i watch the extenden version like 1 every 2 months :D

So i love that you do this hair :D

  • This was lovely! I just discovered your channel and I love it! I love how you really care about treating your hair properly and all your tutorials don't feature crazy backcombing and huge amounts of hairspray! Finally, tutorials that I can feel good about recreating! Awesome job, looking forward to more :)

  • is that a necklace ur using as a head peice?

  • @shazo89 Nope, it's an actual head piece. You could use a necklace though =)
