I hated the fact that other People were telling me what do and what to eat...until the Animals told me without saying a single word. I was shown the violence, torture, blood, screams, and just horrible images...I could never look at Meat the same way. I'm proud to have gone Veg.
Earthlings is the most amazing video. The human race should be ashamed of themselves. I'm ashamed to be part of it but I'll do my best by being vegan. "You reap what you sow", please forgive me for what i did while I was ignorant....
The movie is excellent, and people are truly clueless as to what's going on. The term 'little Eichmann' is used to describe people who are unthinking and unconcerned in their enabling of atrocities. Eichmann was a Nazi who didn't -hate- the Jews; he simply wanted the promotion.
On another note, while humans can do HORIBBLE things, we are still the least 'speciesist' species on the planet. Well, ok, we're a top 5 (next to dolphins and whales). The reason we behave this way is animal genetics.

I don't know what objection you have to that premise. Humans are animals and almost everything about us is programmed by the same genetics that govern other species. There is nothing controversial about this, so perhaps you meant something else.
That film is ....oh.. i can't even find the words to say how much it hurts when other people are so fucking idiot!! The only spicie that should vanish are people!!! I do not know any other animal or plant that make world worse and worse. I am only 17 years old girl but i can see most of thingsl that are happening all the time!! I see every mistake that people do so why others can't see it too !!!
Every individual must make the connection to his innerself and see the endless potential of love, else the destruction that already has begun will wipe out the human race! Aim for selfrealisation. Awake!

The fact that we have high standards for humans, and that we expect kindness from them shows the potential greatness of our species. It can be hard to view things within cultural contexts and to be understanding, but going around killing sharks because they are predatory is senseless. It takes generations of outward pressure to evolve.

No heart, no soul, no brain, hence why they dont deserve even the 2 min education that will be a waste of time!
@mevigisi Your desire for violence is saddening. Sometimes we have urges to do things that we should not. I would argue that the hunter simply gives into an instinctual urge that he has.
I know people who killed animals, even cats and dogs, growing up. They watch videos of people's heads getting cut off, or torture videos. I just want it to stop and violence against man IS violence against animals. At least these people must keep their degredation hidden from the rest of the world.
@LukeShetler I agree that violence is totally wrong, and I don't mean to sound that I am for any means of violence what so ever. My emotions get the best of me, especially when it comes to animals welfare. I CANNOT understand how people can either agree or participate hurting animals in a barbaric way. Like I said, I do not agree with violent actions but......... I couldn't promise myself that if I was to witness these barbaric kikllings in person that I wouldn't throw a punch or two.

Before I watched Earthlings,
no joke (plus I'm Mexican)
