noooo dont listen to them. alien workshop is a great brand. ive had them sence i was 6 and ive never broke a board. i sugest silvers or thunders for trucks and if ur a beginer redz barings. but if not get what you can afford. and also i suggest rock dyrdeks strobe addition allien workshop board (thats what ive got) because its super light and its strong.
