You know, even though there are con artists galore who built up this system, the basic bottom line reason things like this can happen is that at least half of people in society are simply incapable of understanding even the most basic financial concepts. There's no answer to help that. There are so many people who you could give a million dollars and they'd find a way to be broke within a year, poverty is inherent I think, you couldn't fix it no matter what.
