Glad I could be of help, you could put this information into a detailed descreption in order to help your audience, I am sure they would appreciate the information.

Copy just the files from inside the (Diamond Pack) into each folder with a similar name. Such as (Half-Life Sound Folder), (Diamond Pack Sound Folder) drag and drop the sound files from Diamond into Half-Life. Try to keep track of which folder is which I have made the mistake of accidently reversing the steps and putting Half-Life Files into the Diamond Pack it can sometimes get confusing.

(theblackbull55) speaks the truth on this, but just as a caution I would copy your (Half-Life Folder) so, that you have two copies just in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry right? Also, when copying the files from the (Diamond Pack) to (Half-Life) don't replace the entire folder. Many people make this mistake thinking it will replace all the files for Half-Life this is not true at all in almost every case.

It should look similar to this (C:\Users\a\Desktop\a\Sierra\H­alf-Life\Base\hl.exe -dev console). Minus the period lol, hope that helps, be sure that the (Application) you have made is placed in your (Valve Folder) so that it may run as a seperate application. I have noticed when you go through the (Options Menu) and go to (Change Game) the mod sometimes crashes, (Half-Life Mods) run better if you create and run them through seperate applications.

its really not that hard, you need to find your valve folder and then place the mod files in there ( so you replace models materials and sounds folders etc... )

@theblackbull55 cool! thanks. i was playing around with it and i finally got it to work! the only problem is that i cant get the new sounds in... maybe because it was solely for Steam, im not sure.

This is how I was able to avoid this bug, run the mod in (Dev Mode) which is pretty much the mode people use when they wish to (Access Cheats). You can do this by (Right Clicking) on your (Half-Life 1 Application) and go to (Create Shortcut). Now (Right Click) on it go through (Properties) and look for where it says (Target). Put after the word (hl.exe) the words (-dev) and (console) be sure there is a space in between the two of them.

I ran into the same problem with this mod crashing. I think some of there is a problem with some of the (Animations). You will notice when you go into certain levels holding the (Shotgun) or (S.M.G.) it will usually crash. But, if you go into the next (Loading Screen) with a (Crowbar) it works fine.

well if you had a nonsteam version you would run the game like you normally would, i dont know shit about half life steam version, it can be more difficult to make it work with steam, why not get a pirate nosteam copy, ( like 400mb )
