@blackhandsrecords E' VERO!!! LUI HA DETTO CHE ANDAVA BENE UNA E, E MARK INVECE GLI HA DETTO CHE NON ERA UNA E MA UNA D, E TUTTI SI SONO MESSI A RIDERE!!! GRANDE MARK!!!!!!

Ahahahahahah
Thanks for posting this video...To watch him put his interpretation of this song with mark knopfler is exciting...I still want to know if it has been recorded to get the song on my ipod...
This was from that Sun Records special, Good Rockin Tonight, right? I was disappointed when I bought the soundtrack and found Sheryl Crow on this song instead.
I understand that the CD version is recorded probably with a wrong speed at origin, so its key is between D and Eb...Mark says "D is better for us...is much better for drums as well (?)" I suppose he is joking...and then what does say the guitarist (and why laugh) ?
WHAU !! This is history Mark Knopler (my favorit), playing together with DJ Fontana on drums, Elvis Presley first band drummer and The prominent Scotty More Guitarist, who startet rocknroll together with Elvis at the beginning of the beginning, and then the great Italien singer Zucchero. This is music of legends. Thank you for adding this video!
@RoyalBluesBand - I am not Italian, but what I am is a lover of ghe great Adelmo Fornaciari Sugar ZUCCHERO...and no one can sing this song like him....blues!!
what zucchero is saying is that on the c.d. because of the speed the song was finally produced at, the pitch, or key is halfway between 'd' and 'e flat' ...so they agreed on 'd'...
You are right. Charlie Rich wrote this in 1961 (it`s on his posthumous "Beyond Your Wildest Dreams" CD, released in 2000 - Rich died in 1995). The song was a big hit for Bobby Bland in 1962. Leo Sayer and David Courtney wrote a song with the same title.
Who`s dissing on Zu??? Eric Clapton loves playing with him, too!
What's all this disrespect for Zucchero about? If MK wanted to play with him, who are WE to put him down? Zucchero = Great blues voice and songwriter.
Zucchero isnt very good at english but he does know his music system by heart. It just didn't really matter to Zucchero what key it had to be played in. I have seen both live. And they are both great musicians!
I guess Zucchero doesn't speak very well english and doesn't know well the english music system ! I don't think Zucchero doesn't know the musical key : he has written & composed too beautiful songs !!!
Zuccero's a great musician and singer. I guess he's just not been sure in which key he finally wanted it. Don't get me wrong I prefer MK by far. Still Zuccero's a great man.
Hasn't anyone noticed that the old guy is Scotty Moore?!?! THE GUITARIST OF ELVIS for the King's whole career!!!

No, I am not an italian, but I have a good knowledge about italian music and singers.
But after all it is a matter of opinion. Personally I do think there are better singers than Zucchero.
