If anyone is having trouble with Dark Souls, choose the Master Key, get the Dragonshield and Astoras sword (possible to not die here), buy the heal miracle, beat gargoyles, then skip the depths and blightown through the valley of drakes shortcut.

After seeing this a quickly downloaded Iji. The boss was hard but pretty easy once you get the mechanics down. I encourage everyone to download it. It is free and one of the greatest free PC games I have played in a while :)

lol i like how #3 turns into a bullet hell game. btw, Have you played I Wanna Be the Guy? the whole game requires you to have flawless platforming, but the final boss is just insane with it.

your list was pretty good, at least you some good hard boss fights.

People seem to love to idolize tons of cheap bosses, which was ok in the past, thats all programmers could make (in the age of nes, a little bit in snes, and could have been better in the age of ps1 and higher), seems like if you die once or twice at a boss he becomes super hard on some scale.

True bosses out smart you, exhaust you, and make you open up before going in for the kill, then they mock you by doing it again.

@NovaZengear Just saying if you take a normal enemy from a beginner stage and give him 100 times his hp and attack, he'll become a hard "cheap" boss just like the rest of them. Doesn't have to be dynamic anymore, just has to make you say dammit I guess.

@giygasman Now that is what I call a good list. The only thing that I can request to make an even better list is to play the ds version of monster house. After some very hard levels you will have to face a boss that can kill you in 1 hit, summons enemies at you and it is the first boss in the game.

tbh Dark Souls' bosses are the easiest part of the game, the challenging parts are really just the swarms of standard enemies that can kill you in one or two hits. Dark Souls is only regarded as especially hard because a) its marketed that way b) its a throwback to old-school NES/SNES era games that used to be notoriously hard. Its more a reflection of how easy almost every other game is nowadays. Back in retro gaming, finishing a game was an achievement to brag about, now its an expectation.

not retro game but azazel (boss) from tekken 6 is a hard boss, though its more cheap than hard. Pissed me off so much. I never beat him and I don't own the game any more, I was just like F it after a while.

Making the best of what you're given is an essential skill for any top gamer, and your anti-Sticker policy is probably why Tabuu posed a problem. His attacks are easy to read, and can all be dodged.

Much like Tabuu, the Commander (S&P:SS) is a pushover, if you know how to read his attacks. Actually, that's true of every boss on this list, with the exception of Wizpig.

@newbslice if you have a weapon reinforced with fire it does a lot of damage. if you go immediately up into the left their is a stalagmite coming out of the ground. try and fight gwyn around this area. just keep going around it. Most of his attacks will miss you.

I pity the puny mortals, who think that Maneater(s) or Flamelurker are hard. They are the hardest bosses in the game, but they are still fairly easy to beat. You can always use magic to kill anything, but if you want kill everything with melee weapons, then Hyper Mode everything to death.

Demon´s Souls difficulty was a let down. Bosses are easy. I would say that many of the stages are harder than the boss.

@fazersblue: I agree, it's like the game is laughing at you with an easy boss fight at the end of almost every stage. I've beaten most of the bosses on my first attempt, while I died a lot of times while on the way to it... Funniest things were the Maiden that commits suicide if you just talk to her after killing her knight and the Penetrator where you got that awesome NPC to assist you and the boss only attacked that guy while you could simply kill him from behind.

Man Eater was difficult but using the perk of the fog gate to take out the first one makes him much easier. I think the final boss from Psyvariar 2 on the Dreamcast should have been #1....yeah......SCREW THAT GUY!!!!

#10 nice boss but not too hard #9 over rated boss,he because the most player has no idea what the z button does #8 oh yes.(but plz no bug useing) #7 not harder then red felcon and by far not the hardest megaman boss #6 no idea #5 because of holy water he isn't the hardest caselvania boss #4 realy hard #3 like 3 #2 very hard but #2 is too high #1 never saw him before,but looks insane I cannot angree with you in any points but still a Very Good list.
