Boy, you don't hear accents like that anymore. Sounds like a cartoon character. Gary Crowley is still on the radio (and is still as gormless and wooden) but his accent has softened considerably.

Sadly, he still presents music shows. But the good news is it is for a satellite Rock channel no one really bothers to watch.
Not that Jerry and Mark an co. are watching, but next time you visit get on Later With Jools Holland and you'll see how respected you all really are.

In the '90s Gary was obsessed with Suede and mentioned their greatness (his view not mine) at the most inopportune moments during interviews. On this video he is embarrassingly passive. In the '90s he became sycophantic about Suede. He just can't get that unbiased presentation balance right:)
I've no idea if Devo performed on Old Grey Whistle Test. If they did it's a shame the BBC have not included it on recent O.G.W.T compilations.
