  • i wasnt aware that they spoke romanian n yugoslavia

  • OK, only spain and Portugal speak actual spanish. every other nation has it's own version of the language that is so different, it's almost as big as the difference between Spanish and Italian.

  • @LuminOfMoonlight That's not true.

  • @korth66 Case in point: Mexico Vs. Spain.

    Problem?

  • @LuminOfMoonlight What do you mean by problem?

I don't know if I understand your point.

  • @korth66 If you don't understand the "problem" question, then you obviously are not a /b/rother.

It's a stupid internet joke that is supposed to illicit an irate rebuttle from the personage being querried.

  • @LuminOfMoonlight Well I think a rebuttal is not necessary at all because you already understand what my point is.

By the way, I don't understand what /b/rother means either.

  • @korth66 My point exactly.

(look man, I'm just messing with you now, but seriously, only spainiards speak true spanish as their native tounge. the nuances of other "spanish" dialects are far more diverse than the dialects of say, english.)

  • @LuminOfMoonlight .....It's the same different dialect. i Speak Mexican Spanish then went to Spain understood it they same. :O

  • @LuminOfMoonlight

Actually in Portugal the language spoken is portuguese. There isn't much difference between the various countries with spanish as first language, the biggest differences are the accents and some words may differ. It's like the difference between portuguese and brasilan portuguese. It's praticly the same thing.

  • @rachelcaldeira1993 Ok, let me try this again: Spanish -> Mexican Spanish -> California Spanish

Send someone from downtown LA to Madrid and see if he understands a damned thing that they're saying.

  • @LuminOfMoonlight Hmm The difference between EU Spanish and Latin Spanish is very small,

    one can easily understand eachother.

  • Surely Yugoslavia would be Serbo-Croatian, (or Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian, Montenegrin as they like to be referred to as now), as well Slovenian, Macedonian and Albanian (because of Kosovo)?

  • HA! They missed out Wales.

  • Philippine also speak Spanish

  • for scotland you should have put english/Gaelic thats the second official language of scotland Ireland and Wales but great job adding in all the languages

  • ...why didn't he just name all the countries in groups, depending what they speak? (Like all the countries where they speak spanish, he should of said those together, etc)

  • @edellover6 cuz then it wouldnt rhyme that way! >w<

  • under german law, their kids MUST, it is a requierment, to learn english.

  • morroco speak morrocan

  • In most developed Asian countries (you know, the ones that have been invaded before), English is taught as a second language as a mandatory curriculum.

So yes, this video is either outdated or missing some crucial information.

You CAN get by most of the world on English alone, though unwise.

  • honduras is spanish idiot!

  • actualy Israel is both Hebrew and Arabic -.-

    *is Israeli*

  • I always wonder why people are so fond of calling Belgian Dutch Flemish and just refer to Belgian French ans French, while the amount of Belgicisms in French almost equals Dutch Belgicisms, and the difference between the Belgian versions of both languages are not enough to give these a different name.

(The Dutch is Suriname is also different from the Dutch Dutch, but there no distinction is made)

  • He doesn't say Asia!

He says: Bangladesh, Asia. He is stating that Bangladesh is in Asia, as you would say, Canada, North America or London, England

  • I am going to clear this all up on the discussion on Filipino/Philipino/Tagalog/Pilipino

Filipino is the official language of the Philippines (along with English). It is based heavily on Tagalog and has been described as a beautiful and, dare I say, perfect language.

Tagalog is a dialect, spoken mostly around the NCR region

Philipino is WRONG. Never use it.

    Pilipino refers to the people.

In case it wasn't obvious, I'm a proud Pinoy. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!

  • wow i saw spanish SO MANY FREAKIN TIMES in the first 35 SECONDS (SORRY didnt mean 25 i meant 35

  • wow i saw spanish SO MANY FREAKIN TIMES in the first 25 SECONDS

  • quechua and aymara and from PERU u get confused i think quechua is speaken or spoken (english is not my main language) in bolivia too but aymara not

  • I'm glad you listed Brazil as Portuguese although I am not from there (My parents are from Portugal) I get angry when students at my school say that they speak spanish (no offence)

  • Norway actually has two languages, Nynorsk and Bokmål

  • again...WHERE THE FUCK WAS WALES!?

  • @brettsworld99 maybe it didn't ryhme with anything, but I don't think you have to get so worked up just because it wasn't mentioned. jeez it's just a song from a cartoon

  • @MKDSzebra3 well it didnt have to rhyme with anything

  • @brettsworld99 then the song wouldn't have flowed well if they had a country in there that didn't rhyme with anything

  • @brettsworld99 Wales is a constituent country of the UK. He doesn't mention the US states, the Australian states, or the Canadian provinces either.

  • @aquilo84 and yet they said scotland

  • @aquilo84 But he does say Scotland and England, which are both UK Constituents, although he doesn't say Northern Ireland...nor does he differenciate between South or North Korea or mentioin South Africa!

Other than that, a great song!

  • we are Taiwan, not "chinese Taipei"..........

  • Actually... the Philippines has many different languages and dialects depending on where one lives. But the main languages spoken in the Philippines is Tagalog and English.

Also, going on the words of my Filipino professor, Filipino is a real language, just with English words littered in there. Pure Tagalog has no English and Taglish is Tagalog and English smashed together (like "mag-cocomputer" or nag-aanalyze).

I hope you had a fun lesson. XDDD

  • El español es el idioma mas chingon de todos y al que no le guste que vaya a chingar a su puta madre !!!!

  • philippine islands ftw

  • hong kong is Cantonese, Chinese, and English

  • scottish gaelic

  • 0:57 Spain has two languages, Spanish and Catalan. If you want to learn Spanish then don't choose Barcelona e.g..

1:22 Ghana has nothing to do with Hausa, that's Nigeria. Ghana has Ga, Twi, Ewe and Daugba.

1:28 Nigeria has Hausa, but also Fulani, Yoruba and Igbo.

You could eliminate some of the mistakes by just using the official language(s).

The work you have done is great but you should have done your homework better.

  • u missed few!

  • What about Cape Verde (In Atlantic Ocean between USA & Africa) & Tonga near New Zealand or did I miss him saying those? Well anyhow- Cape Verdeans speak: Portuguese (Crioulo)....And Tonga he didnt say either: They Speak Tongan & English

  • Most people in Afghanisten speek Farsi not

    Pashtu

  • that's fantastic!!!

  • you missed scotland !!!!

  • Puerto Rico is 100% Spanish =3 Supposedly, English is a second language, but very few people know it fluently.

  • el español rifa y controla, spanish rules,

  • I am dissapointed you didn't put ALL the languages for Asia! LOL

  • You could actually put 'Turkish' to Germany too ;D

  • Haha!

  • thanks for mentioning Flemish !!! :D

  • What was the point?

  • The Philipino language in Tagalog

  • @227danville its filipino you idiot(s) stupid people

  • hersheybar11... the video said HINDI you can check, but don't be a dick.

  • "hindu" is not a language... 1 star!

  • @hersheybar11 It's 'Hindi', not 'Hindu'.

  • the Filipino language is Tagalog...

  • O and 115 dialects :D

  • Bolivia has 154 languages lol and only spanish is official there are no real tongue academies

  • Asia isn't a Country!

Yakko was saying "Benglidesh, Asia", as in putting the country before the continent (like people put the city before a state).

  • Neither is Carbbean.

  • In india, while hindi is the official language, English is also spoken in india. The Indian film Slumdog Milionare had half the movie in Hindi, with the rest in English.

  • lol theres a language called wolof

  • They speak German in Luxembourg too..

  • Kenya also speaks Kikuyu, English, and Maa

  • lol..awesome video

  • in spain there are 4 languages

  • Give them a hand for being able to bring the languages to this song. and as for Yugoslavia, and USSR, they barely new nations when Yakko sang this song.

  • in phillipines is taglog and spanish

in china is Mandarin Xiang Yue (cantonese) Pinghua Min Hakka Gan Wu Jin Huizhou and Pinghua

  • @GomCopoSalin

Filipino really is the official language of the Philippines. Only a few Filipinos really speak Spanish nowadays.

  • Hindu?? I think that it is hindi at 0:30. Actually I know becuase I speek hindi.

  • Also- when you say "Asia is a continent so has no official language" well he didn't say Asia, he said Malaysia, which is another country in Asia and does have an official language.

  • Well he actually does say Asia at that point in the song. A few countries before that however he says malaysia.

  • @simality

if you look at the lyrics on this mp3 website, Asia is in parensthese

  • How its count does some country speak english or not?

Is it count by what is necessiry to learn in school, or by how much % of ppl can speak it?

Btw, in Finland almost everybody speak english too very well :)

  • In addition to english and chamorro in guam, we chamorros also speak filipino.

  • I am filipino and it is TAGALOG

  • in Scotland they also speak Gaelic

  • That "mistake" I caught too.

  • they are using the official languages

  • 17,000 scots speak gaelic. All of whom also speak english. It would be more appropriate to put welsh for england, since there are many hundreds of thousands of welsh speakers in "England", many of whom DON'T speak english. There are more people who speak a third language than gaelic in scotland, but its a common misconception that it is somehow a popular language. It isn't. Its a fringe group of super nationalists, just like the "Cornish" language.

  • I'm afraid your figures are way off on the number of Gaelic speakers in Scotland as well as the popularity of the language. And while a lot of them do speak English, not all of them do, as you've said. And it's not a fringe group of super nationalists either, otherwise Skye would have sent an SNP MP to London instead of a Lib Dem. The language may have its detractors--and I would count you among them from what you've said here, but all languages do have detractors, including English.

  • @OrderofStOdhran Who cares about Scotland...English is the main language in the United Kingdom...which includes Scotland, and is ruled by English monarchs.

  • @ashtonmadhatter A) There are a lot of people who care about the individual countries that make up the UK (otherwise, there wouldn't be a movement that wants an English-only Parliament in addition to the other 3 devolved assemblies), B) technically the "English monarchs" are German and Greek. But I'm certainly not going to argue with you about it.

  • that was cool man, awesome timing with that. just to let u know new zealanders speak maroi as well.

  • correction. the language of the Philippines is not "filipino"

its tagalog. theres a lot of dialects there.

    ~inaccurate~

  • Great work!

  • yugoslavia should be "croatian, bosnian, slovenian, serbian and macedonian" :)

  • Macedonian, slovenian and serbo-croat, if not mistaken, no?

  • Comment removed

  • It rocked in the "Portugal-France-England-Denmark-andSpain" part xD

  • icelsndic

  • Maybe I'm being picky, but you should have maybe said the dialects as well. For example, Austrian German for Austria.

  • Japaneses people speak English stupid

  • That was irrelevant to what I was saying...?

  • wow just wow um last time i checked its japanese its a language not just a peoples

  • Cool :)

  • Correction. Tagalog was not missing. And also German is not missing. But Nepali is as well as the othe other major languages of India and Philippines respectively.

  • Sinhala/Sinhalese, not Sinhali. Also Tamil is spoken in Sri Lanka..

Also, Kirundi, not Rundi. I think also Tagalog is missing.

  • wow

  • amazing how many countries speak english and spanish

  • Afghanistan is Dari, not Pashto! Dumbass!

  • It is both actually.

  • That is really creative well done. *claps*

  • Very good this Videó Yakko Warneről and I like it singing, lists the countries of the land meanwhile. :)

  • In Poland, people usually speaks Polish, but some of them use much esier to learn version of Polish, called Kurwish. I think that the second language should be added.

  • I was suprised that for belgium it mentioned that the dutch was flemish :P , and yes whoever, I think he missed south afrika ! just watched it again, and even carefully checked his lost bit, but no south afrika!

  • Wow, thanks good.

You put all languages from switzerland in... :D

Not many are knowing that. (except the habitants of switzerland, lol)

  • in Slovenia or whatever he says (dunno how the country was called back then) at almost the very end, they don't/didn't speak slovak, but Slovenian, I think.

I'm from Slovakia and we use slovak, (but we were in this song introduced still as Czechoslovakia, despite the fact the country didn't exist when they created this song)

  • In afghanistan they speak more farsi than pashto

so it isn´t true ,that they only speak pashto.

  • wales - cymraeg u cunt
