Acrassicauda, "CONGRATULATIONS! Im glad to see that the 4 of you made it out of the oppression and are bringing BACK old school metal stylings. Never ever lose sight of the goal that you have and DON'T let 'the industry' change ur style and format as well."
I have to say they are quite the most intense metal band; or most intense musical group I have ever heard of. Who else has played a live show with mortars going off and thought of it as an everyday occurence?
they are working on it now. faisal says they have quite a few songs written. it wont be like most cds now days with 9-13 tracks, itl be a full 15-20 or so is my guess
Acrassicauda sounds like they stuck deep in eighties*. There is nothing bad in that 'cause they r original, it is just like they were frosen in Metallica/Slayer/Testament etc. - biggest era.
haha funny how they lived in a country with only like 4 people who even like metal and they found each other and are better than most of the bands in the US
From the songs that I have listened to, their music seems to be really awesome. I have to say that I prefer their classic sounding metal songs to their death metal sounding ones, but that's probably because I prefer classic metal over death metal.
Wait! there's metal in Iraq? Stop bombing the fuckers and get these guys to Sweden, Norway, or here in America. After these guys are here the Military can do wutever the hell they want with the place.
My boss' son is a marine in Fallujah and he just started his second tour about a month ago. Two weeks ago, my boss tells me he got a call from his son. They loaded up into a humvee and their Sgt said "Ok, let's check out the KFC first." He sat there for a while wondering what the hell KFC was an acronym for. After a few minutes, he gave up and asked "Sgt, what's KFC?" The response he got, word for word, was "Kentucky Fried Chicken, you idiot." Yes. There's a KFC in Fallujah. I kid you not.
I had an Iraqi tell me that in 10 years we would be eating McDonald's together in peace, in Kirkuk. That was in 2004. He is Muslim and he knew I was a Christian.
i hope you end up in a situation where you will be fearing death to come knocking on your door, then lets see how well you will play when at any moment an f16 bomb can land on you.
When you say you 'welcome death' , do you really mean you'd 'probably pee your pants & cry like a mentally challenged child' if death was within as so much as 100 ft from you ?
Their music maybe loud and hard, it yet shows that there's still life within people whose faces are just worn out in their expression of fear, dis-illusion or just resignedness !!
