It doesn't get you high THC wise but the CBDs will get you high. It's because the THC has already been metabolized in your system so when you exhale all you are getting is the combusted herb and its cannabinoids and other stuff that is in the plant.

@hotalex45 Okay. From what I understand, when we breathe in air, we absorb only a small amount of oxygen. You exhale most of the oxygen that you have inhaled.

When you breathe in smoke containing THC, 90% of what your lungs can absorb will be absorbed within a few seconds. It's not because we absorb 90% of the total amount of THC in the smoke - it's because our lungs aren't efficient. We only absorb a certain amount from each breath we take.

This actually isnt true unless the hit is absolutely massive. You get "high" because your lunges are pulling low oxygen air filled with carbon dioxide into your body, which gives your brain a slight "high" effect. When you take a hit (the first hit that is) and smoke goes through your lungs, your alveoli pull the vast majority of the THC out of the smoke and render it almost completely without any activated cannabinoids. This is also the reason "hotboxing" seems to get you higher. lackof oxygen.

im just curious to know, is it bad to smoke the black resin that you find on the bottom of your bong. cuz usually if i run out of weed i just strain the bong water so im just left with that black shit, then i dry it out to smoke. but ive been told it fucks your lungs up like 3 times worse the just normal bud. is this true. btw im lovin the vids, keep em coming guys :)

@prod929292 The THC oil in the resin isn't bad for you, but theres alot of ash and carbon dioxide trapped in the oil and that is why they say it is bad for your lungs. Hashish is almost the same thing, only it wasn't scrapped from somones bong, it was scraped from marijuana leaves.
