Why does everyone think Poland is a crossdresser! I see cosplayers who cosplay as Poland and wear mini skirts, I see fanart of it, I see all sorts of stuff like that.

I don't know. This wear -not cosplay really- was decided on saturday for sunday. Normally, I wear the green costume or the red costume.

Maybe it's because in the origin Hidekaz was thinking to do Poland as a girl

Originally he did not know whether to make Lithuania Poland and China girls or guys, but it is decided now. I just don't see why they make my country a cross-dresser (not that it's bad to cross dress) when there is no reason for it at all. And it's a bit disrespectful in my opinion too. If he is a guy, and is the Phoenix of Europe, why the frilly dresses and pretty lace? We Polish aren't that crazy with pretty clothes. No offense meant to you, it just bothers me to see this kind of thing.

Well, it's because he IS a cross-dresser. The character designer originally meant Poland to be a girl, but he changed him to a boy but gave him feminine features. Plus, being a cross-dresser.

People dont THINK that he's a cross-dresser. They KNOW.
