This movie is what happens when The Mission and The Castro collide with a tiny hint of white washed Daly City youth, or at least that's how I interpreted it.
I think it's about str8 girls who hang with gay guys. Probably their adventures and fabulous lives and some tribulations.
I've seen trailers for summer blockbuster **the hero blows everything up** movie trailers which contained even less about the movie than a modern day car commercial does NOT show you the car.
FILM MAKERS: Please stop telling us how good a movie is. Tell us what its about and IF we want to see it we will. I DON'T CARE WHAT SOME NONAME REVIEWER THOUGHT ABOUT IT IF I DON'T KNOW WHAT ITS ABOUT! This movie might be good, but the trailer for it sucked because it didn't tell me anything about the actual movie.
@myrdraal2001 It's called an oblique trailer. Like Clockwork Orange, Contempt, Breathless, or even Dr. Strangelove. Those trailers purposely left out the story to make people look it up. The people that wouldn't be bothered to look it up probably wouldn't like the movie, so the "oblique trailer" weeding out process actually works.
@fleeism Thank you for the info. I would say that it worked on me. I don't care what its about, I'm not going to take the time to look it up or track it down and watch it. I'd rather they didn't do a trailer at all than do this style of advertising. They, as far as I'm concerned, wasted their money and my time. Sad, really, if it was a normal trailer I'd have at least tried to see it.
@myrdraal2001 But it's not sad. You're just not the target audience. Wasting your "time"? If they did a "normal" trailer, and you tried to see it and you REALLY didn't like it, that's even more of your time "wasted". It's just not for you. Stop being dogmatic about how trailers are "supposed" to be.
If you really want to see what the movie is about, there are three over explained trailers for the same movie on YouTube created by the filmmakers before the studio purchased it.

@fleeism I'm sorry, you're right. They should all just keep wasting their time, money, and effort on movies that won't ever be seen by anybody that isn't directly related to them.
