Cults always show up after bad this happen. The simple reason for this is because people are more receptive to cult indoctrination if they are stresed or tramatised.
I agree, I was once in a Christian like Cult and a Nationalist movement and you'd be amazed how similar they are in terms of controlling the Group, developing a Hive Mind, they stamp out doubt, the Christians I met tried to turn me against my Parents, that's when I woke up as they violated a Commandment.
Over in the UK the BNP (British National 'Nazi' Party) turn up when a Race Riot has happened, generally it's them that start these riots by sending in 3rd Party Groups kind of like the Defence movement Christman above mentioned.
Through the turmoil they use the Problem Reaction Solution method of gaining support.
Without Group think Nationalism falls apart.. They hate Individualist thinking.
