Um they still sound good but there not as good as they were before he is sort of screaming when originally he supposed to sing it softly but there still good but not the same
I saw them last summer and they were SUPERB!!! Colin Blunstone just has the most distinctively haunting, ethereal, almost choirboy voice in some of their songs!
Truly magnificent. These guys are something SPECIAL. Don't ya just love Chris' cool bass lick between the first chorus and 2nd verse? They're doing this show just 4 more times in the UK in April. I'm off to Manchester on the 24th and I know it will be a gig to truly savour and treasure. I just love these guys!
I saw Them seven times in the last six years around the Philadelphia area. They are Heavenly!! The Keswick Theatre. Trump in Atlantic City twice. The Scottish Rite Cathedral in N.J. The TLA in Philly. The Mann Cennter. B.B. King,s Cub in NYC at The Mike Smith benefit. They are the real deal!
IF YOU read/see my favs re; my zombies vid of favs and mY COMMENT re; our 3rd row seats 4 the atlantic city gig soon and our backstage FREE comps and the NYC village zombies gig too we got great seats to as well .ugh.. well wee gonna have a TIME OF THE NYC NIGHT BLAST in season anth /BeaTlebum1965 says
Just lucky, I think ... I was pretty close to the front in the middle of the row and they just missed me! Mind you, lots of people were taking still pictures and maybe security thought that's what I was doing.
Thanks for posting this. I was there for final concert on March 9 and was only able to record part of "I Love You" before security made me stop. :-( This was a historic concert - seeing Chris White play the bass riff on "She's Not There" was amazing. I came from Dallas to see them and it was worth it. the venue was great, with fantastic acoustics, just like being in a recording studio.
That'll be great Zfan! Look forward to it. We had them to play on my first day at University in 1966, and though I already knew they were good, I hadn't known they were THAT good. And living proof that you can be gods of music without being slobs!

Rod's Website indicates a US O and O concert series. I wonder where they will chose? I hope there are East Coast venues, like Boston.

rich88b 3 years ago
Yes, and I'm going to see them in St Albans 19 June. That will be my 3rd gig in less than a year! Btw, how was the concert Sunday?
zombfan 3 years ago
The concert was AMAZING and both The Zombies and Yardbirds were superb!
I hope more people will take clips, especially of The Yardbirds as there are very few of them!

The stage, the outfits, the production all shine. Pure class, like diamonds sparkling in a rusty world.
