The film was written by M Karunanidhi and directed by T R Sundaram & Ellis R Duncan. Music was by G Ramanatha Iyer, the lyrics of this particular song was by A Marutha Kasi and sung by Thiruchi Loganathan and G Krishnaveni (aka Jikki). Originally S A Natarajan was offered the role of Veera Mohan, but he opted to play the role of Parthipan. Eventually a small time actor playing extra roles, named MGRamchandar, got his break as full pledged hero, as Veera Mohan. He later on became MGRamachandran.

This is Nadarajan. I do not know if it is kallapat or SA. He also starred as the villain in Manohara.
