And Lo! On the first day Paul amended the Constitution so that it's illegal for the government to be in debt. Meanwhile, he abolished the Federal Reserve and the Income Tax. In the evening, he delivered a baby, but went to bed early. The next day, at the first rays of dawn, he stood up and threw the Patriot Act into the gutter as soon as he had finished his coffee. And on and on. I think it'll take about seven days to finish the job.

Hope he wins, but I have to answer his question:

How did we get here?

It's already 'fascism' and headed toward full blown communism. The sheeple and most 'patriots'/conservatives/truth­ers/paulbots/whatever will be willing slaves because they are unwilling to do what is required.

It will take many expensive suits hanging along Pennsylvania Ave. to fix this mess if it can be fixed.

Rand Paul is so refreshing to listen to. He doesn't talk like your typical politician--doesn't say the same old lines..blah blah blah. I've never donated money to a political campaign in my life, but I think I'm going to donate to him.

The example from the Soviet Union sounds like a joke, but it was real--the substance of it. Government is not able to balance supply and demand, it can only stifle the development of wealth by price controls. Let's study history in detail. Under Obama's socialism you can lose your house, mortgage or no mortgage. It would all belong to the state. You could rent it back, but you would have to share it with 3 other families from the slums.
