1. this isn't a just on its own.the car is attached to a tether or *rope* so it can go as fast and is possible.

2.that "bird" you thought was too fast wasn't in the background and it was a fly not a bird.

3. off camera they quickly rub a soft brush on the car to slow it down as well so that is the sudden "drop"
