  • Pure Medicine Hat gal:)

  • Thats what we call a Milf.

  • she sure wears that cowboy hat well!!!

  • in some small way Terri Clark reminds me of Linda Ronstadt

  • this song is from the year i was born!!! it feels so right to listen to!

  • Not even a country fan, but Terri makes country music attracted to others.

  • Like if you are watching this in 2012

  • i would work her over no joke she is georgeous

  • Coolest country gal ever.

  • Haha. the GTO got hot. lol!

  • awsome vid ever

  • I live in Alaska when this song came out.

  • I love the music, the singer, and the car. its all great, couldnt be more american than this

  • This is a great song. Used to hear it all the time on my local country station. Went to #5 on the US country chart and #1 on the Canadian country chart.

  • well duh she takes the good looking one who brought her the drink lol

  • Golly gee, this a Ronstadt tune originally.

  • @Marc2b4 Incorrect. This is a Warren Zevon song, later covered by Linda Ronstadt (a good friend of Warren's), and now Terri Clark.

  • That man in Hollywood... yeah, it was me.

  • This gal has the voice and looks to go with it...thanks for posting...luv it!

  • I'm confused, Linda Ronstadt already did this exact version didn't she?

  • ...must...stop.........looking up Terri Clark songs... On Youtube!!

  • @MsHorsecrazycowgirl Don't fight it...just go with it. (and any other songs ya feel like ;) )

  • pooorrr poorrr pitiful me!!!! get your groove on!!!

  • haha yes that was epic loved the ending that is something i would do

  • lol just heard this song to day and i already love it XD

  • I like that she calls them "boys" not men..

  • @AC1209ROX She did say she met a man down in Hollywood.

  • @TheJer1963 Well, yeah, but i meant when she says "Oh these boys won't let me be."

  • Still don't get why pop country people can't write their own songs. Yeah, this is some really good karaoke. Hank3 was right.

  • @Ratbas

Its called a cover. Artists in all genres do their own versions of songs all the time.

  • @loner1878 Yup, not only is it a cover but it's a cover of a cover. I'm just venting a little. Recently heard a country music fan talk trash about non-country claiming that country was "more real." Kind of a hard claim to listen to when (a) so many country acts dont write their own songs or come up through the club scene and (b) they cover songs from the genres their fans tend to take exception to. [FWIW I did look up TC's album credits and see that she does get song credits/doesnt abuse covers]

  • Written by the late and great WARREN ZEVON (when Clark was 8).

  • I dont blame her! I'd take him along too! Whoo-hoo for R-E-A-L country music! :)

  • the girl can really sing it up !!!!!

  • Haha I love it!

  • RIP Warren Zevon

  • RIP Warren Zevon

  • All this song needs is more COW BELL...

  • @metcom Maybe if this was Blue Oyster Cult...... Ah, what the hell. Give me a lot of cowbell!

  • This is how I have felt all summer haha I love this song :)

  • I love her and her real Country Music !!!

  • Comment removed

  • 2:08 Isn't that the nicest Ass you've ever seen !!!

  • Now this is wat I call REAL COUNTRY music. Not this stupid Pop stuff wit a bit of a country twist!! THUMBS UP If U AGREE!! <3 :) Terri Clark, Trisha Yearwood, Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain, George Straight, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson!! REAL FUCKING COUNTRY YALL!!

  • @HayzBabe92 not really lol, this is a cover of Linda Rondstadt, queen of pop( I say queen of pop with upmost respect).

  • @gulfwinds94 @HayzBabe92 it's actually a cover of a Warren Zevon song (then covered by Rondstadt)

  • @ndurbridge Yea i didn't kno it was a cover & i haven't heard the real version of it so idk if it has a country zing to it but this does. If u listen to a lot of today's stuff it doesn't have that country twang thing going on, If u understand at all wat i'm saying lol.

  • @HayzBabe92 And Terri is what I call REAL WOMAN, along with Shania and Sara Evans, not these stick thin freaks like Lady bloody GA GA!!

  • @NYJALB i 100% agree with you!! :)

  • @HayzBabe92 Thank you my darling...I do my best! 8-)

  • @NYJALB Ur welcome!! :)

  • @HayzBabe92 Lol is that 92 a coincidence? A 90s gal huh? They didn't consider this "real country" when this came out either! So who's to say what classifies as a certain genre, things change! I for one wouldn't consider Shania Twain, The Dixie Chicks, Trisha Yearwood, or Terri Clark as my list of straight country, they were ALL on the pop charts at one time!

  • @wvgrl1992 Yep i'm a 90's babe!! haha Yea i get wat ur saying i just consider this more country then wat they are playing today well most of it anyway, some of it's still really good but not much!

  • @HayzBabe92 Don't forget Martina McBride and Kenny Chesney!!!!!!! Their country and their awesome!

  • @SylvverInWonderland 100% agreed especially Martina<3<3<3 lol

  • @HayzBabe92 Don't forget Alabama!!!

Paul Brandt is also a "True Country" artist up here in Canada

  • @HayzBabe92

If you consider Warren Zevon "real country," then how is what they play on country radio not?

  • @cookdough77 Look, ive never heard that version or of that person, im talking bout this version right here & im also talking bout the un mistakable TWANG in her voice. If any of yall kno wat im talkin bout Thumbs Up Pls <3

  • @HayzBabe92 If you like the song, check out Warren Zevon doing it. He wrote it and you may like it!

  • @HayzBabe92 I agree with all but the Chickie Dicks...

  • @michellestacy61 Ur entitled to ur opinion lol, but i think they are awesome, that's just me tho haha

  • @HayzBabe92 Left out Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys, David Allan Coe and a few others...but I agree with ya.

  • @HayzBabe92 kinda partial to Alabama, Tom T. Hall, Dwight Yoakum (sp) and Loretta Lynn myself, but I agree with ya. Better than that "stuff" that's out today.

  • @TheShyguy109 I like some of Alabama's music & I love Loretta Lynn (I'm also a coal miners daughter, granddaughter, & Great-Granddaughter lol). I've never heard of the other 2 you mentioned but like Alabama & Loretta they were probably before my time. Just cause they are older though, doesn't mean they aren't good, quite the opposite actually, Today's Newer So Called "Country" music is absolutely terrible, I'm ashamed to admite it's my generation's doing! haha ~Keep It Country!! <3~

  • @HayzBabe92 I have to admit, every now and then, your generation of "country singers" actually comes up with a good one. Like Jerrod Neimanns "one more drinking song" (and Tom T. Hall made one like that called "I Like Beer". Great song.) Still, as long as ya like what ya listen to, then you're way ahead of the ones that listen to what everyone else does simply because it's "cool".

  • @HayzBabe92 warren zevon wrote this years ago and by the way, it was pop.

  • @georgemmeadors I'm not talking bout the original song, i am talking bout this 1. Which i'm not even really talking bout the song, I am talking more about the artist but thank you for informing me. Btw, I've never even heard the actual version of this, This is the only 1 i've heard & i like it this way!

    ~Keep It Country!! <3~

  • @HayzBabe92 what about Jason Aldean?

  • @foreveryoungily1996 Love Jason Aldean & He's definitely got country in him, not to mention he's completely banging lol.

    ~Keep It Country!! <3~

  • @HayzBabe92 Oh 1 thing bout Jason Aldean though, He's a little bit of a sell out. For example the rap in Dirt Road Anthem. Don't get me wrong though, He's still alot better & a lot more country then some of the other "country" singers today. I also love that song. Idk, In my head i'm making sense so hopefully yall get what i'm trying to say here & I also hope no offense is taken by my comments, i completely respect all yall's opinions & comments :)

    ~Keep It Country!! <3~

  • @HayzBabe92 you forgot about gretchen wilson and Reba

  • @lilkush909 Reba definitely!! I'm not a big Gretchen fan but hey to each their own & yea you definitely get what i'm saying & where i'm coming from! :) ~Keep It Country!! <3~

  • @HayzBabe92 Thank yall for all the "Vote Ups". :) As lame as this may sound, it's the first time 1 of my comments has been the #1 comment & it's definitely the most likes i've gotten so again thank yall! ~Keep It Country!! <3~

  • Thats a fun song s

  • i love her and her music she is very very pretty

  • @ilovemysbb This is not her music...

  • Aren't we missing a few lines? Something along the lines of...

"Well, I met a boy at the Rainbow Bar - he asked me if I'd beat him.

He took me back to the Hyatt House.. I don't want to talk about it."

  • @PerpetualPeace let's face it this is a cover of the Linda Ronstadt version which also gives those lines a miss.

  • @thereagauze Yeah.... it's too bad. She could have fun with those lines! (We all can....)

  • very nice on the eyes. I remember her on Monday night concerts with Ricky Skaggs.

  • @john2johnify i just heard this song today on slacker.com - the party country station!

  • This is awesome!!.I remember when Linda Ronstadt did this..

  • Fuck Vevo I am so sick of it I miss the old youtue

  • More cowbell! 1st vid we've seen Terri without her hat on. She hit #5 in Billboard, 12-7-96. How'd she do on the country chart in her native Canada? Where'd she peak? God bless! Hugs to ya, for postin' it!

  • @john2johnify Nothing happened except history repeating itself.

20 years from now, the kid of today will say the exact same thing about the music of 2031 in relation to today's music. The songs on the radio has moved on, perhaps your musical taste hasn't? That's of course completely fine, just don't whine publicly about how everything used to be better in the old days. Makes you seem awfully old ;).

  • @riKringkast you are right, it has moved on, from good country music to CRAP. you might think it is good, must most people who do like country music know better. I prefer music to noise. Country music is not rock music or Rap. Country music is about life, and that is the reason is has survived, it will be here allot longer than you or I. Listen to your crap and leave the comments about good country music to yourself. you don't know the difference anyway.

  • @MrClassiccountrymusi "Country music is about life"..? Such a vague description doesn't really contribute to anything. All music ever is about life in some way or another.

I never said anything about today's music being good or bad, country or otherwise. I was making a point about how relativity plays a bigger role than the inherent quality of the music in question. Contemporary music isn't necessarily worse, but many tend to perceive it as such. You get the point about relativism, yeh?

  • love this woman cuz she's a GD cowgirl! Taylor Swift...not so much!

  • I Love Terri Clark When I was Little

  • That guy in the tight shorts! UMMM lol

  • Warren Zevon originally did this... Idiots.

  • Zevon!!!

  • i love this song

  • lol

Woman: o thank god! the keys!

2 idiot looking men: hey wait! wait! where you going!? we were having fun!

Woman: hey come here handsome, lets go on a date!

    2 idiot man: o!!!!

  • all these boys wont let me be! lord have mercy on me.

    haha i love her!

  • WARREN ZEVON

  • man i might have been at that concert, she opened for goerge, me and my bud meet her at walmart and got pixs with her she is great.

  • man i might have been at that concert, she opened for goerge.

  • more cow bell ; )

  • i love her singing. She's ANOTHER ONE THAT NEEDS TO MAKE A COMEBACK & DO HER THING. We need MORE WOMEN country singers-cause they CAN PROVE/SHOW THAT JUST CAUSE WERE WOMEN we aren't necessarily limited to the kitchen, etc!!!!!!!

  • I like the way Terri Clark remade this song & even better than the original that was sung by Linda Ronstandt in the 70's.

  • Original was sung and written by the late, great Warren Zevon.

  • Ahhh, the magic of Zevon lives on after his death...

  • who is she talking about when she wears her hat low..i cant put a name with it

  • @BEERPONG36 Jesse James

  • @RoadsideWildflower9 jesse james? the singer?

  • @BEERPONG36 no jesse james the FAMOUS OUTLAW THAT ROBBED BANKS,WAS SHOT BY BOB FORD in the late 1800's.

  • i wish they would bring country back to sky or virgin, bring cmt

  • I loved Linda Ronstadt's version of this waaaaay back...This is just as good...if not better...

  • @john2johnify i agree...70s through the 90s was by far the best country music...shoot anymore a guy might as well listen to rock

  • Wow Terri has a great CT....yummy

  • Ohhhhhhhh this brings back some damn good memories. Fantastic song.

  • That mechanic is one hot P.O.A.! :):):):):)

  • @john2johnify I have Sirrus Satellite Radio and hear all these old tunes steady..It's great listening to this driving down the highway:) Cheers

  • @john2johnify This technically a song from the 70's. This is a (rather dull) cover version of a song written by warren zevon.

  • HMMMM, this so reminds me of somebody!

  • This isn't really 90's country. It's 1976 rock by Warren Zevon, then covered in 1977 by Linda Rondstat. It's a good 90's country cover of a 70's rock song already covered in the 70's, though. ;-)

  • i miss terri clark..saw her in concert and i thought she rocked it and she was even funny!! =)

  • Love the end of the song when she picks the guy who worked on the car. xD

  • @Andreela5rose She took him because out of all the guys in the videos he wasn't in her face non stop.

  • @angelgirl148 Oh I know. xD I would have done the same thing.

  • @Andreela5rose I'd probably socked a couple of them. "WTF leave me ALONE!!!'

  • @angelgirl148 lol....there's something about those hard to get men....real men are hard to come by and jerks are a dime a dozen.

  • @angelgirl148 Me to! They would so deserve it.

  • @Andreela5rose They would!!!

  • TC was the hottest woman in country music and was on every guys wall at home

  • why did country weman stop dressing like this look shes hot

  • @farlough225 Well, the modern Taylor Swift/Carrie Underwood look aint that bad, but I agree with you, 90s country is the best kind of country music

  • @southernboygonebad Agreed but after 5 years taylor swift's song will be forgotten

  • I love terri clark she is the most gorgeous lady of country music very underrated I love her music

  • @huntergreen52 no shania twain is!!!!

  • @huntergreen52 I think MirandaLambert is but, I like Terri just the same.

  • it's time for Terri to pack it in.

  • Haha I doubt Warren Zevon thought this song would be a country hit when he wrote it.... But I guess it works

  • I've been crushed on TC since the first time I saw her. I love down-home girls.

  • i was like 5 when this was released but anywho i love it
