@elizabethhir Well you teach a papillon tricks like any other dog. All dogs learn the same way. Just some take longer to learn them. Papillons usually learn quickly, being the 8th smartest dog in the world. You just have to be consistent with teaching them. And So far Kiwi hasn't forgotten how to do any of her tricks, even when I haven't had her do any for about a month.
@elizabethhir my papillon pippin knows several tricks and picked them up very quickly. to train a dog, patience, repetition, and lots of dog food are required (too many treats can make a dog sick). some of the coolest "tricks" my dog knows aren't ones i taught him. if i look like i am about to go out, he automatically runs to his crate (or even if i say to someone on the phone that i'm leaving soon). he also understands when i tell him to wake someone up. otherwise he'll just cuddle with them.
