Yeah his head looks very small for his height. Which actually makes him look somewhat taller than he actually is. Plus, he has shortish neck and very broad/square shoulders. I mean I've seen a 7,4" guy (Shagari Alleyne) and that guy's head is just ABSOLUTELY enormous because unlike this guy, his head is actually in proportion to his height.

Leonid isn't 8,5"! He's probably not 8 feet for that matter! He has been recently been dethroned by Guinness (Even though he is in the current edition as the tallest man) because he refused to be measured by Guinness. Why would Guinness put somebody they have not measured themselves in their prodigious record book is beyond me.

That's what I was thinking, Wadlow was like ridiculously tall. And Wadlow had a much bigger head than this guy, but Wadlow's back was much less wide. Yet Sun Ming Ming seems to have a fairly proportionate upper body when compared to his legs while Wadlow had really long legs and a very small torso for a guy his height.

I don't think there will ever be a eight foot plus player in the NBA or any basketball league for that matter because folks that tall almost certainly have gigantism and hence are barely capable of moving let alone play basketball.

Kenny George and Sun are probably the most similar b-ballers out there. The only difference between the two is that Kenny has more reach than this guy (apparently this guy's wingspan seems sightly shorter than his height) whereas Kenny's span is nearly an enormous 8,6"(102 inches).

I think Leonid Stadnyk is not actually as tall as is claimed to be although that doesn't necessarly make take his honor of being the tallest person away from him. His head doesn't exactly touch the ceiling of his house (which is actually the standard 8 feet) so he's likely no more than 7,10"-7,11" (without shoes btw). Anyways, is this guy actually 7,9 barefeet or is that height in his shoes since Kenny George is also that height in his shoes so maybe he's actually no taller than Kenny.

Secondly - Wadlow didn't sit down all the time because of weakness. He was a major sponsor for a footwear company in the US and travelled very often as a spokes person aswell. He died because of an infection in his foot of walking so much with no proper shoes.
