  • Wonder what kind of spice was added to that fried rice, cause the results sure pack a punch. O_O

  • Clawdia sounds like an old woman, I think. It sounds like Chinami Nishimura.

  • Chika Sakamoto, I mean, Rica Matsumoto was the Japanese voice of Chase in this show. Just remember that Chase shares seiyuu with Ash Ketchum.

  • bistro recipe? is that what it was really called? not fighting foodons? lol this show was hilarious... too bad 4kids and the fcc murder everything that's imported.

  • Looks like FR's name is Kyaaman. It is written underneath him around 0:47 and that is what it sounds like Zen is calling him.

  • i wish fried ricer's name would be chao fan

which would be fried rice literally in chinese

but i guess that wont happen since this is japanese

  • (Axel D's opinion on Anime)

fuck all other anime! watch Bistro Recipe!

  • his name appears to translate into Charman (チャーマン) which would be a play on chāhan(チャーハン) which means "fried rice"

  • @atjnAdfhhjea Yeah, the kid calls FR "Chaman"

  • did 4kids delete any scenes from the original japanese version of fighting foodons? (Like whole scenes), did they remove romance scenes?

  • @presidentevil For what's his name, they changed his guns into mustard and ketchup bottles

  • @TKnHappyNess First and only time where i like the editing and is good. Mustard and ketchup bottles are more better for this series because it is about food.

But I'm talking about any romance scenes they deleted, anything significant that was deleted? If so, I will cry like a retarded baby!!!!! Or maybe petition the company to make the unedited version (except for the mustard and ketchup bottle)

  • @TKnHappyNess I think you are talking about hotdoggonner

  • 懐かしいwww

  • O_o what? this is the strangest thing I've seen all day

  • wow i just remebered this anime today while talkin bout anime in class hehe i totally forgot about how i used to watch this hehehehehe epic!

  • Dude where did you find this clip?

  • i'd like to know who voiced Miamia, although i have a few hunches. she sounds somewhat like Chinami Nishimura, but i'm not entirely sure.

  • Hmm why is it Everyone from 4kids seems connected an are voice actors from same shows concerning Pokemon,Fighting Foodans, yuigioh, even new series like Dinosaur King though some eventually go on to animes, these are just more kid based show not exactly able to compete with stuff like Naruto or Bleach but thats only in dubs

  • Chyaman sounds like Bruce Lee. Cool.

    Mianya sounds so cute. :3

  • Doesn't Zen sound like Satoshi? Another connection this anime has with Pokemon!

  • actually, he does. except Zen was voiced by Chika Sakamoto, whereas Satoshi was voiced by Rika Matsumoto.

  • Listen to the meatballs at 0:51. They sound like little kids compared to the 4Kids dub!

  • Are you planning on posting more? I actually really like Mianya's voice, the English one is good, but this one is so very cute♥ (I can do a similar voice)

  • They gotta make more of these don't you think?

  • Clawdia has a fucked up voice lol. She sounds like a little girl. (she's the cat), and that's her name in the english version of the show.

Lol i watched this show when it was on foxbox back when i was in 2nd grade. Kick ass show.

  • The only reason I ever watched this anime was for that cute sexy catgirl. She may be a bad kitty, but she's still cute.

  • Your not alone on that. Many people I know watched the show for that reason too.

  • wow this is the first time ever the american dubbing of a Character sonds better than the original japanese Mianya's voice sucks!

  • mas capis de bistro recipe(que nombre tan gracioso)por please

  • I think fried ricer's original name is "Chiyaman"

  • Awesome! It's been years!

  • i wish they didnt shut it off. =[

  • I wish a fansubbing group would sub this show.

  • Zen's japanese voice sounds just like Satoshi (Ash Ketchum) from Pokemon. I'd say that it's Rica Masumoto.

  • I want to f*** Clawdia! She's so hot!

  • I hear ya buddy!

  • Because she is a furry and furries are overrated.

  • Yeah. Isn't she cute?

  • She'd be hotter taller, with bigger breasts & a nice round tush lol. Who could resist the sight of a busty woman? I certainly can't.

  • Tell me about it. If she looked that way, I'd most likely be drooling! Whoo! It's crazy what the charm of a female is capable of!

  • Makes me curious about fansubs. After all, Kung Fu yells & dragon roars are way cooler than just saying their names over & over.

  • best was spaghetabout it

  • can i eat the loser?

  • Hahah the Fried Ricer makes the funniest noises.

  • He sounds like Bruce Lee. The way martial art people scream is always funn.

  • So that what Fried Ricer had sound like.

The 4kidstv site is showing english verison online.

  • they need to make a foodon called Cracka Foo.

    basically a huge joint.

  • wheres the subs!!!!!!

  • i always wondered if u can heat the foodons heads cuz its still food

  • The katakana that appears under fried ricer as it first comes out says "chyaman."

  • is the fried ricer called yaman?

  • Clawdia's hot

  • Agreed what is it about those cat girls? Reminds me of the announcer in YUYU Hakusho.

  • I agree.

  • I love this show. I don't care what anybody says about it. In fact, It might take the mind out of hunger.

  • Lol such a bruce lee moment

  • Omg this show is retarted, but i fucking love it

  • lol i know wat u mean

  • what ever dood, this show is a legend

  • this is the only anime cartoon that sounds good in english

  • Fried Ricer had a better voice in english O_o

    he makes funny noises now

  • why nooooot?! it looks like fun

  • darn i want the full episode

  • Please, if your a big fan of this show like I am, try to get some people to watch it. If the ratings are good enough, this means if there's enough good comments about the show, they will put the entire season on DVD. There were a total of 26 episodes (duration: 25 min). I want this show back on the air (& on DVD) just as much as anyone else. Copy and paste this message to any Bistro Recipe/Fighting Foodons clips, pictures, blogs, &/or websites to spread the word.

  • Oh shut up. First you pester me on Deviantart by posting the same comment on 5 of my arts. It ain't going to happen. 4Kids ain't going to put it on DVD.

  • Sorry, I never meant to pester you.

  • You only have to mention the thing once, not repeat it.

  • dont be such a cock sucker

  • Jetix will be be airing Fighting Foodons in 2008 :o

  • Not good enough...I don't get Jetix nor Toon Disney. I will not be satisfied unless its on DVD.

  • STOP YOUTUBE!!! For your information, Youtube is getting rid of all Anime videos.Every night at 10:00p.m. they have a maintenence that deletes any videos that are Anime...To stop Youtube from doing this, You need to get enough people to Protest...To do this, please help by Copying and Pasting this message to all of the Anime Videos from being deleted

  • You're being an idiot. They can't stop. It is violating copyright laws and youtube can be held responsible. It sucks but youtube has ABSOLUTELY NO SAY IN THE MATTER. They have no choice.

  • If they were going after animes, they'd be going after the more popular ones, and even if they did delete it, there's other sites for people to upload them.

  • Indeed

  • Hi. Remember me. Mr.TKnHappyness. Why are you going around faking your age, dont tell anybody you play pokemon, and still try to copy off of a Japanese cartoon!!

  • this series needs to be rereleased in the us posiblly redubbed by any other company other thatn 4kids for example Viz or Media blasters

  • It was translate into English into 2 versions: one called Bistro Recipe and the other called Fighting Foodons.

  • Please, if your a big fan of this show like I am, try to get some people to watch it. If the ratings are good enough (this means if there's enough good comments about the show), they will put the entire season on DVD and sale it on the shelves at the stores. There were a total of 26 episodes (duration: 25 min). I want this show back on the air (& on DVD) just as much as anyone else.

  • CLAWDIA YES!!!!

  • Clawdia sounds so much cuter than her English version, in the English version, she sounds like a Texan Hooker( mainly because Veronica Taylor did her voice) the same voice actress who did Nico Robin in the dubbed version of One Piece.

  • pfft kimchi fried rice tastes better!

  • fried rice without soy sauce?! that's just wrong >:<

  • oh no its fighting foodons i love this show man, good flash backs

  • any full episodes or are they lost

  • that green pea on the fried ricers head is actually a testicle suffering from gang green

just to let you guys know. i mean its obvious

  • more fighting foodons. long live fried ricer.

  • Only watched the show because I found Clawdia cute & funny. She was boring when she was turn back as human.

  • You must tell me where you found this video.

  • I have surfed the all across the web to find Fighting Foodon images & videos (sadly though I was only able to find 1 video in mpeg format---Fighting Foodons intro).

To me it was even more entertaining than Poke'mon itself. I woke up every Saturday morning just to see it.

Today, 4kidsTV is now even more terrible than ever. The only really good shows 4KidsTV brodcast are Yu-Gi-Oh, Chaotic, & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. What crap! There's more bad shows than good shows.

  • you said it not to menchen the fact that the whole thing is on sunday. bring back the classics.

  • They brodcast it on Sunday? At what time? Is it brodcasted on FOX or a different channel?

  • incase you care its coming back on jetix in 2008 jetix is 6-like 10 pm on toon disney

  • Blasted! I can't get Jetix nor Toon Disney, I only can get channels 2-27. Please, if anyone knows where I can get the English version DVD set of Fighting Foodons, please let me know.

  • Where did you get/download this video? I Must Know. I am a big fan of Fighting Foodons (just because I found Clawdia cute.) Please respond back to me. If its a stream, I'll convert it to a mpeg file.

  • wow, japanese clawdia's voice does not fit the character.

  • wish they make a season 2 that wouldnt ruin it

  • only watched it for clawdia and lacoco

  • dude I do not like Clawdia's japanese vioce, it's to freakin squeaky, but thank you for putting this up!

  • sounds a little like Naruto!

  • can someone upload these episodes with subs on youtube?

  • it used to be in english and it was on fox till they changed the name

  • this so~ sounds like naruto's voice to my opinion

  • hahaha aw man, i would watch this show when it was on the fox box,

fried ricer was totally awsome! XD

  • ha his voice is uzumaki naruto's

  • yea but this show was made first.

  • well, his first helpful foodon

  • Zen's/Chase's first Foodon isn't really Fried Ricer, it's the Burnt Meatballs.

  • Sugoi

  • this is comin back on in america and it is in english

  • Is it really coming back, and how do u know if it's coming back? O.O

  • i want the damn show back used to come on but it got cancelled

  • The show never got cancelled, it acutally ended all the way.

  • That's what pisses me off, they could have least put the entire season on DVD.

  • No, it actually finished. Like completely. Like over. The ending's kinda bad. Won't spoil it tho.

  • It was in America & translated into English in 2002 on the FoxBox. I was told it was coming back on Jetix on Toon Disney. I wasn't put onto a DVD set due to low ratings.

  • "Cha-man"? Sounds like "Chow Man".

  • him* lol

  • they're calling ham "cha-man"

  • Well, in the original Game Boy Color game in Japan, it was called a "cha-han". That SOUNDS like what Chase is calling the rice Foodon...but I'm not completely sure myself, so take what I say with a grain of salt. "Cha-han" might also simply be the name of the actual rice recipe used to CREATE the Foodon, not the Foodon's name itself.

  • Well, the katakana reads "cha-han" when he's introduced, and I know a ramen resturant that serves a fried rice dish called chohan, so I'm guessing that the cho-to-cha change makes it a portmanteau of something. Unless I (or the resturant) is wrong about the spelling, of course.

  • Fried ricer!
